I cant ever get enough of Spirited away and Howls moving castle. What really catches me eye are the *backgrounds* (that house in the middle of the sea in Spirited away, and all of Howls stuff + what are the other rooms of his castle) I feel like theres so much story in the back. Where did he get those items? From a friend? In his giant mechanical castle, where do those other rooms lead to? Are there more secrets? Theres so much I want to know and wish I could explore, but alas, I'm not there.
I think it's all about imagination with ghibli movies. They give everyone the opportunity to immerse themselves in the story and fill in the missing boxes with whatever they like.

i love how Calcifer can be heard simply just by the cracking sound of fire. it is like you are being in a room with a loved one, and the both of you are quiet but it is very comfortable listening to natural sounds of each other. also i need to call out the sound of the house creaking at certain times, indicating that it is 'walking', moving.
When I turn into a parent, I will play this in my baby's room like a lullaby song. But babies are not the only ones who need pacifying, us grownups too. It helps us forget our problems and get a good nights rest amidst life's tests. Like Howl's castle as it walks, it rocks us gently as the castle goes to its journey somewhere probably fascinating. But it is night time and we need sleep. You hear Calcifer slowly eating the firewood, the chimes, the boiler rooms silently hissing in the background, and the music box's cheerful yet sometimes melancholic tune. You find yourself wanting to read the books in the shelves, books about romantic journeys and adventures; like every Miyazaki movie you've come to know but it plays vividly inside your imagination and takes you far away from the worries of life. You were spirited-away into a world like Howl's moving castle.

this certain kind of music encapsulates the fleeting memory of a warm tranquil childhood which I never had due to strict and abusive household. the nostalgia of something familiar yet not quite so. I can't describe what it is but the melancholy blankets me, yet for some reason it soothes me. maybe it's the crackling fire or the sounds of pages being flip or how the wind chime sways through air producing a melody that reassures me, who knows. one thing I am sure of... _"I am safe here."_

This song always gets me in the feels. I can't explain it but, it feels like a distant treasured memory. It feels warm and old. It's bittersweet. It feels like a memory about the greatest and happiest days of my life. And that's the sad part, I guess. They're nothing but memories now. I can only go back to them by reminiscing the past. It's like something so beautiful it hurts.

This is perfect to study, read or write to. Imagine sitting in this wonderful castle, surrounded by loved ones just doing their own wonderful, calming things (for example the pages turning in the background). Love it!
It’s a weird imagination but, when I listen to this, all I think of Howl and Sophie having an actual family together. You hear Calcifer in the background, and the magic. The little twinkles would be their child’s mobile with stars and shooting stars. It would be golden, with blue crystals hanging down. The lullaby would be “Merry go round of life” that would be playing in the background for their child. The book would be swishing and swishing as Sophie would sit down with her child and read her child a story. Then you hear the door dinging from place to place, and Markl would be answering the door. That’s just my POV, I’d love to be their child if this was my world.

i’ve recently come to having my mindset based on aspiring to be in different worlds, that being fantasy worlds beyond imagination to escape this one. and howls moving castle has become my comfort movie, this video makes me so overwhelmingly happy. the erratic-ness and gentleness of howl, the crackling of calcifers reassurance, the decorations in howls room distracting from one to the other… it feels like I’m finally home. like I’m not alone, with every item being personified and every character busy with their own projects, it’s calming beyond calming. thank you
I close my eyes and with this I am again sitting by the fire with my family as a child, reading Harry Potter or something just as enchanting. The feeling of warmth on my slumped back growing to a mild burning sensation as time goes by, encompasses me. The sense of safety as my parents lovingly watch over me is strong and my heart yearns for it once again. This I miss. Nostalgia is a memory that warms a cold heat but if heated too quickly can burn, leaving you under the running tap of icy reality
There's quite a few Howl's Moving Castle Ambience tracks but yours is undoubtedly my favorite. It just feels so much softer and gentle than the others to me, I really love it

ive been having a bit of a bad day. fighting with people college classes family discord daily anxieties i laid down and listened to this for a bit. needless to say it helped me let out a well needed cry. i ended up falling asleep and i feel safe now. oh to be in the world of wizards, flower fields and romance jaja. thank you for this
This movie is the heart (hehe get it?) and soul of my aesthetic. I have wacky stuff all around my room, I dress in old vintage mismatched patterns, I make all my own jewelry and have a signature pair of earrings that I wear on the daily. I try my best to use rare big words when I speak and I even named my space heater calcifer lol 🔥

I'm not going to lie, I fell in love with this soundtrack a few months back, and only watched the movie a few hours prior today. I love it so damn much, its my new comfort film so this popping up in my Recommendations at 3am was perfect.
I'm literally drawing this big ass poster ( around 99 pages in total ) of the major Ghibli studio movies to this audio amongst others and I just happened to be drawing howl's moving castle listening to this audio, it just made my drawing feel that much more special! Some days just feel absolutely shitty, like nothing is going anywhere and my efforts aren't helping. When those days arrive, with all the overwhelming negative emotions, I like to find these types of videos, make some sort of warm beverage and just read with this playing in the background. The original book goes into more detail but it's not the fun majestic world that ghibli made, it's gross and dark and very messed up.
Have you read the Howl’s Moving Castle book? If not it’s a great way to get a little more of that world :)

this certain kind of music encapsulates the fleeting memory of a warm tranquil childhood which I never had due to strict and abusive household. the nostalgia of something familiar yet not quite so. I can't describe what it is but the melancholy blankets me, yet for some reason it soothes me.

I can't help but notice how beautiful your writing is. Also, I'm sorry that you went through that as a child. However, I think we're all here for the same reason--to escape reality and enter howl's world. I'm glad this music gives us all the warm, fuzzy feeling that we never quite got to experience.

I absolutely adore the attention to detail. Hearing the castle moving makes me so happy.
This song always gets me in the feels. I can't explain it but, it feels like a distant treasured memory. It feels warm and old. It's bittersweet. It feels like a memory about the greatest and happiest days of my life. And that's the sad part, I guess. They're nothing but memories now. I can only go back to them by reminiscing the past. It's like something so beautiful it hurts.

Anyways i rll wanna manifest this video irl like just it gives me feels with the sounds. The crackling of Calcifer, the distant music box, the rare creak of the house, the footsteps, the pen scratching the paper. It all just gives me this happy yet melancholic feeling and i don't know hoe or why but it does. It's like i've been there in a way. The way that the human mind can be taken into different worlds is amazing and fantastic. To whoever is reading this, keep up the good work, keep doing the things you love!

This is perfect to study, read or write to. Imagine sitting in this wonderful castle, surrounded by loved ones just doing their own wonderful, calming things (for example the pages turning in the background). Love it!
It’s a weird imagination but, when I listen to this, all I think of Howl and Sophie having an actual family together. You hear Calcifer in the background, and the magic. The little twinkles would be their child’s mobile with stars and shooting stars. It would be golden, with blue crystals hanging down. The lullaby would be “Merry go round of life” that would be playing in the background for their child. The book would be swishing and swishing as Sophie would sit down with her child and read her child a story. Then you hear the door dinging from place to place, and Markl would be answering the door. That’s just my POV, I’d love to be their child if this was my world.

i’ve recently come to having my mindset based on aspiring to be in different worlds, that being fantasy worlds beyond imagination to escape this one. and howls moving castle has become my comfort movie, this video makes me so overwhelmingly happy. the erratic-ness and gentleness of howl, the crackling of calcifers reassurance, the decorations in howls room distracting from one to the other… it feels like I’m finally home. like I’m not alone, with every item being personified and every character busy with their own projects, it’s calming beyond calming. thank you
Looking at or even being near Howl would make me feel so warm and calm. I would do anything to live in these films.
I close my eyes and with this I am again sitting by the fire with my family as a child, reading Harry Potter or something just as enchanting. The feeling of warmth on my slumped back growing to a mild burning sensation as time goes by, encompasses me. The sense of safety as my parents lovingly watch over me is strong and my heart yearns for it once again. This I miss.
Nostalgia is a memory that warms a cold heat but if heated too quickly can burn, leaving you under the running tap of icy reality

There's quite a few Howl's Moving Castle Ambience tracks but yours is undoubtedly my favorite. It just feels so much softer and gentle than the others to me, I really love it

I have wacky stuff all around my room, I dress in old vintage mismatched patterns, I make all my own jewelry and have a signature pair of earrings that I wear on the daily. I'm not going to lie, I fell in love with this soundtrack a few months back, and only watched the movie a few hours prior today. I love it so damn much, its my new comfort film so this popping up in my Recommendations at 3am was perfect.
I'm literally drawing this big ass poster ( around 99 pages in total ) of the major Ghibli studio movies to this audio amongst others and I just happened to be drawing howl's moving castle listening to this audio, it just made my drawing feel that much more special! Thank you so much for this audio, I personally am not that much of a fan of ASMR, but this just hits different!

This makes me so happy and so sad at the same time. It’s so nostalgic and brings so many memories but I feel like I am missing something in my life. It feels empty and it feels like being in that world would make it whole as i would explore the world of ghibli and go to every small cozy book store etc. it makes me sad and makes me feel old listening to this and knowing how fast time goes by :( aaaahhh this sounds so depressing but I hope I am not the only one ⛈

Some days just feel absolutely shitty, like nothing is going anywhere and my efforts aren't helping. When those days arrive, with all the overwhelming negative emotions, I like to find these types of videos, make some sort of warm beverage and just read with this playing in the background. It really helps calming me down and getting my head straight:)

Reading a book while this was on the background felt amazing. Kinda felt like I was just in one of the rooms of howl's moving castle and just letting it go to where it wants to be while I enjoy my book and not giving a damn about anything thats going outside the castle.
