What if shortly after the Roe vs Wade case was decided (3+/- yrs) a political party realized it could cause religious uproar over abortion, despite the country being largely accepting of pro-choice at the time.
What if after the Fairness doctrine was allowed to sunset, news media established two camps, right and left and only interviewed folks from their own party/alignment and no longer had both on for discussions or be fact checked in real time?
What if...we had a political party that devised a partnership with media that leaned it way in conjunction with Congress members to begin to support a more radical, nationalist and a religious tone...to improve their electability and group think?
What if in the age of social media, foreign countries could insert their narrative throughout it through accounts that appeared to be American?
What if an anti citizen court case was decided that Corporations should have the largest of free speech, equal to its limitless political donations?
What if a political party with waning support feared never gaining significant power in the executive, legislative or judicial branches again and latched themselves to the last criminal in the white house instead of moving on?
What if all were true and working in concert to regain power at the cost of the democracy of the republic?
