2:06 - "Runaway car loaded with explosives headed West" In other words the original "Speed" with the railcar as the "bus." Murder on the Private Car - 1934 Speed - 1994
The 2 types of locomotives shown in this clip; the one/ones running away from the runaway private car and that 2-8-0 that saved the passengers should be added to Trainz. As well as those whistles along with the locomotives, but the whistle would be copied and the tune a bit lower for the larger locomotives. What do you guys think?
Hey dude do you play anything like do you play train simulator I do do you have training simulator because I just looked on your channel also I play world of War ships as well and what’s your name in World warshipsAlso yeah the trains are pretty loud
@@tylergreen4843 consolidations couldn’t go that fast like in this film. They were built for freight so they can’t really get to high speeds like that. They mostly can get up to 40mph
Wait wait wait did you see how fast the engines are going one was going backwards pretty fast and then there was one going and forwards and that was fast as well is this sonic are the train sonic the hedgehogBut seriously these trains are going so fast
All I could think is the engine racing to the rescue saying, “Don’t worry! We’re coming! Don’t worry! We’re coming!” Like Edward rescuing James in Old Iron.
It would be a different story if they are gonna use a runaway steam locomotive with burning funnel, and a single coach loaded with explosives (Like the Anastasia runaway train) while the other coaches are uncoupled....
These effects were done by miniature and pyrotechnics back then I wish those are used more often than using life scale locomotives to drive off cliffs.
Gotta give those engineers some credit, they knew how to run their engines back in the day.
For 1934, the special effects are very good.
The trains back then can goes up to the speed of light in the amount of seconds.
That whistle....so cool..
Owen Meschter I know right? 😁
Good thing the passengers are alright though. This clip was intense.
Star Brass Desert Shortbell 5 chime
I’m picturing the engine whistling being the two engines screaming for their lives.
LOL same 😂
You don't see this in film anymore.
Not with Steam at least.
Dat whistle dough, *mouth watering*🤤
IKR???? Music to my ears!!
@@michaelmeliambro5117I can't agree more

Murder on the Private Car - 1934
Speed - 1994
There a bomb on a bus
Opening scene is Dry Canyon Viaduct near Weed, CA. The rest of it was on the SP above and below Dunsmuir, CA.
Yep my first thought was Hotlum (Dry Canyon Tressel) and Mt.Shasta seen below Mossbrae 9:11
Rest In Peace, Mary Carlisle (1914 - 2018)
Sounds like Thomas's birthday and ended in December 31 on a new year's day blow down
Woman: do you think any thing else will happen
Man: well what else could happen
The train: this
WEEEEEESHHHHHHHHHHH
Narrator: "And the steam engine wheeshed its steam loudly."

And my God look at the wheels of the trains look funnyhahaha
Possible that the tuned whistles are either southern pacific 5 chimes or union pacific 5 chimes
Look how the driver is trying to slam his train in reverse when he sees a runaway passenger coach steaming down the hill towards him
Fun fact: that scene was shot forwards, but played backwards
@@armorpro573yep
@@armorpro573yeah
That whistle is earrape lol
But it sounds so fucking cool
@kaden robinson yeah dude
The girls every 2 seconds: 😱
Plus, those are Southern Pacific locomotives.
yes many of the southern pacific
How fast were the c class consolidations on the southern pacific? What was their max speed?

What class of locomotive are the two large locomotives with the "overland limited"
F-5 2-10-2
No crappy CGI's used in the grand finale during this 1934 classic
That switch engine is fast
Hmmm this is just like that scene in the polar express
0:00 - 1:14 Hobo: Take a break, Kid! How bout a nice good hot chocolate joe?!
2:42 "GET US THE BLAZES OUTTA HERE!"
What movie is that
Deja vu
I just kept thinking why are all the people at the front of the car and hanging off of the balcony?
I guess to prepare for impact
Wait wait wait did you see how fast the engines are going one was going backwards pretty fast and then there was one going and forwards and that was fast as well is this sonic are the train sonic the hedgehogBut seriously these trains are going so fast
Yeah trains 🚂 can go fast
It’s sped up a little
Clear the line it’s a runaway passenger carriage and it’s running down the hill and it’s not stopping
The runaway rear car has to go to the train era steam station but the engineers are back up
Why won’t the train just couple up the private car
Because bomb in a car if goes fast without people in there they will die by the curve.
it had a bomb that explode’s if the engine even touches the coupling
The knuckle coupling is like a landmine one step then it’s over.
It's almost like Speed but with trains...
Why is it so Loud it almost hurt my ears 😢
All I could think is the engine racing to the rescue saying, “Don’t worry! We’re coming! Don’t worry! We’re coming!” Like Edward rescuing James in Old Iron.
LOL I can see that
