Very well made video, so when dealing with hard embedded wiring. In my tool kit I use split ring pliers they have a hook end beak on one side that alows me to get even the hardest to reach wire out without tearing the bark off. Just thought this might make your job a slight bit easier.
Thanks Bule! Actually I have not much experience with that species. We have a strain of it here but it has not the best genetics, so I have not really bothered with them. When I was in Taiwan I saw them using them a lot, perhaps you can find some educational material from there?
Thank you. Wiring won’t do that no, however very indirectly perhaps if by arranging branches they get more even light exposure and this grow healthier and thus lead to adventitious bud formation.

Terry Hi there, a quick question; In the above film you talk about the growing season, does that refer to the '3 months' in a growing season eg. spring - summer or does it refer to 1 full growing year/seaon?
I guess this will depend on where you are but essentially it excludes winter mainly as this is when the tree is dormant. However some areas might experience shorter growing seasons to others due to their temperatures.
Hi Terry, I have watched this video now more than once! 😅 I have a similar Juniper, twin trunk style. What Juniper is this again? Also not a fan of the stringy foliage, but the trunks of my tree is too beautiful to get rid of it. 😁

Yes. This is true but he is a very busy business owner and I am sure he just missed the wire, the tree was in all other respects very well looked after.

Interesting! I know the tool you refer to but tell me, are you telling me you just pull the wire and it unwinds, below the bark and pulls out?

Those junipers grow really fast, the owner needs to be more atent to the wire bite
