He then had the accident and almost died. His trainer remained loyal and stuck by his side. He got the biggest purse of his career which was 25million and he gave him 350 G's. He's so arrogant and nonchalant about when he's going to fight Fundora, he's gonna lose again. He and Jermall Charlo are both examples of Boxers who lost their desire and hunger once the money, fame and wealth came. He loves to party. He's even blowing loud now. He bragged about it against Crawford when he said "We smoke BuD' around here. 😄. Nate Jones predicted it even before Errol became champ. He said Errol Spence loves to party and drink and that would haunt him in the long run. He's at that AB & Ryan stage where they party drink and smoke and then stop for training camp. Ryan said he partied even in training camp for Devin Haney.

I love Errol he is a true warrior and Titan in the game. The loss to Crawford was not on Derrick though. Nor was Frank Martin's loss. In both fights you can hear Derrick giving them directions. They did not listen. For example, he begged Frank to stay off the ropes/he lost the fight on the ropes
