Bryan Tyler: one of today's top, albeit under-appreciated, film composers :)
SPECTACULAR MUSIC !!! THANKS BRIAN TYLER . FROM U.K. (2022).
one of my favorite movie, and I really love the music
Everytime I hear soundtracks about BT for LA I love it !!! Brian Tyler is one of the two best film coposer in this world !
Brian Tyler ALWAYS does a good job. No matter what kind of theme the movie is set in. He is an amazing composer!
Love this soundtrack. Good job, Brian.
Outstanding work, Mr. Tyler!
Thank you for bringing inspiration and vibrancy throughout the film. good healthy!!
Great stuff Brian, hope to visit you in LA soon...
A music which speaks by itself! Wonderful job B.Tyler
It's so epic! Great score! Brian's best work.
Awesome!! Brian Tyler's music is amazing every time!!
Hans zimmer and Brian Tyler.....best in the business.
Love this one
ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!
Ever notice how crappy movies usually have amazing scores. All these dumb people overlook the entire epic score because all they pay attention to is the story. Give credit where credit's due though! Brian Tyler is absolutely incredible
I can't speak for anyone else, but back in 2011, I purchased the movie soundtrack as soon as it was released, but never got around to buying the movie.
I liked the movie the first time I saw it because I wasn't expecting any of the realism or authenticity. But the second and third time, that's where I started noticing the shortcomings; but still enjoyed the score. It's very rare that I'll purchase a movie score, but not the movie.
Agreed
For sure. When I first discovered Brian Tyler, I looked at his discography and thought: "Well, he only does generic action-y soundtracks to shitty blockbusters". But now actually listening to his work, he completely blew me away. Brilliant composer.
I need him to score my life. :P
I believe in venom 2
Beautiful!
Amazing! 👏🏻
Awesome !!!
Brian Tyler is one of my favorite composers of all time...
Excellent Performance 💒 Brain and whole Orchestra Team💒
Amazing!
God, I love this kind of video!
Hopefully you sell a complete recording video for Battle: Los Angeles?
your music is amazing
AWESOME!!
One of the best war movies I've seen, without a doubt, music attracts you in battles and moments of tension
wow that's fun watching him conduct the whole time.....
I have always been a sucker for a good soundtrack, and this is partly why I enjoyed the movie. It reinforced how real everything looked and felt for me. What I wish I could find on youtube is a clip of the scene where the Marines are flying into LA and landing at the FOB. When I was watching the scene in the theaters showing the overhead battle in santa monica with the music playing, I was frozen on the edge of my seat with goosebumps. There hasn't been too many movies that do that for me. :)
Excepcional!!!
I love the work of this god of music :D
brian the beast tyler!!!!!!! this score is so epic!!!!
I've always admired how Brian Tyler is able to combine the more propulsive, rhythmic, and muscular styles of most contemporary composes from this day and age and the more traditionally symphonic and/or orchestral styles of composers like Alan Silvestri, Jerry and Joel Goldsmith, David Arnold, Marvin Hamlisch, David Holmes, Lalo Schiffrin, and (on occasion) John Williams into each other, as if they're virtually, if not totally, one and exactly the same. He's practically one of the greatest composers, if not the greatest composer, of our time. I'd totally hire him to do the scores to film and/or television versions of my work if I ever get or got the chance to adapt my stuff.
Espectacular
absolutely amazing :)
The soundtrack sounds amazing and the movie looks epic too. I think I'm going to watch it now. :)
Epic Score! Made that simple war film memorable for me!
Maybe you can do a few more of these for Battle LA? ... Loved it :)
Epic soundtrack to go with an epic film!
"Music can have more meaning than spoken words; music can hold more emotion than a face can show; music is what drives our imagination, limitless."
This is a hugely underrated film!
Brian Tyler The Best !!
great!!!!
You are AMAZING !!
inspiration for me!
Man this is what I want to do for the rest of my life. One day my dream will be reality.
Same here \m/
It's coming sooner than you think. Write down what you want, read your list to God, ask him ONCE for every thing you want, then trust and believe it's coming everyday. Stand in it, picture yourself getting it, and trust God with all your heart that you will receive it.....then just WAIT!
BTW, did you happen to notice the composer's name is Brian also, and if you look deep in his last name, TYLER...you could put your name in its place by removing the first and last letter of his name, unscramble it and add a L&S (Love Song) and there you have it....Brian Lyles, Composer of "Love Song" from the hit movie.......????? Start composing and be ready!
Know your music theory and know it well. Get Ear Master 6.1. It costs as much as a video game, but is something all conductors need to know. Distinguishing intervals and chords. Rhythmic Training by Starer is good to get as well, but be careful, because it's easy at first, but get VERY difficult from chapter 5 on. You have to set a metronome to a slow tempo, and switch from quarter notes, to 8th notes, to triplets, to 16th notes, to sixlets, septuplets, octoplets, duplets, and the difficult septuplets, and then switching back, Using a metronome will make sure you don't get ahead or behind when switching from say, septuplets back to 8th notes, which is VERY difficult not to do. Linda, it's hard work, conducting, especially counting rhythms ahead of time and being able to switch from conducting in 8ths to conducting in quarter notes. Know your music theory well, or your orchestra will not take you seriously. :)
Everything you mentioned is easy. I have a masters in Music Education.
true peak ,i'm love it
Bryan Tyler is the man!

2020
FUCKING EPIC!!!!!!
yeahh
sooooo how can i land job conducting in a scoring session?!?! omg so good love it.
Know your music theory well, and I mean REALLY well. Conducting is more than just waving arms around, it's being able to lead the orchestra through simple rhythms, to syncopated rhythms, to hemiola rhythms, You have to hear every chord, understand every melodic line, and understand the cadence structure, phrase structure, period structure, and sentence structure, while also being able to hear when a musician makes a mistake. Leading an orchestra is tough, but when you know your theory, it makes it a hell of a lot easier. Get Ear Master, it costs as much as a video game but is essential to a conductor. Also, get the "Rhythmic Training," by Starer. Chapters 5-7 are the most difficult and require you to think of beats ahead of time (switching from triplets to 8th notes). It's hard work, but if you have the determination, go for it. Good luck!
Pretty cool, i wanna buy it. haha Im a music major, so I'm going through all the ear training now haha. Id say i know my lower levels of theory very well. lol
NevadaWPFan I have a Bachelors and Masters in music education. The things you mentioned are true. I need the foot in the door. Until then I'll keep building my brand and making the masses aware of my ability.
Im working on my BM in music edu, then my plan is get master in conducting.
***** Excellent! I'm learning the different types of modulations in Theory III right now. It's intense, but fun.
My life dream, composing professionally.
mitico !!) ; = ))
LOL! Check out the choir scene starting at 2:23. In the front left, with the black hair and the gray button down shirt. Hahaha, his facial expressions when he drops his hand and eyes the camera are like: "Are we done already? Damn next time I'm gonna call in sick." Hahaha, it's obvious he loves his job...
Which track is this on the soundtrack?
i was sad hearing hans zimmer wont do mw3, but now i see this guy im even more excited!!!!!
The guy vocalist 2nd from the left who looks somewhat like David Schwimmer at 2:24 is loving his signing job.
