When I was a kid living in Tokyo between 2008-2011, I used to walk from Ueno to Akihabara all the time. This video gives me so many memories from the past.
I stayed in Okachimachi for about a year when my company sent me to Japan on a business trip back in 2014 and 2016. I enjoy seeing Okachimachi Ueno area on your video. It brought back a lot of good memories.
I've been there before. It's also the raining reason Mexico. Also I'm 15th years old. Just 6 more years, for I could go to Japan, when I turned 21th years old. Also I'm an Anime Artist. Two months ago, I saw the Demon Slayer Movie. Japanese food yummy😅😅😅😅😆😆😆😆😄😄😄😄🇯🇵🇯🇵🇯🇵🇯🇵❤❤❤❤💚💚💚💚🍙🍙🍙🍙🍣🍣🍣🍣🍚🍚🍚🍚🍜🍜🍜🍜🍥🍥🍥🍥🍘🍘🍘🍘🍤🍤🍤🍤
I remember visiting here several years ago. I made an itinerary and since I brought my mother in law, I scheduled 4 hours just for Ameyokocho alone. And it was definitely too short! So many stores, so many delicious food! The next day she went there alone for a whole day! As always, thank you very much for making this video, Ishida-san!
Omg.. This is a major throwback for me.. I remember walked down that shopping center ameyoko, and got Cremia ice cream.. GOD.. ITS THE BEST ICE CREAM. EVERRR
So happy to see you at Ueno Station area. I'm missing it now, having been there twice. I hope we can travel soon! Thank you for trying more different street foods and trying new things. I definitely think it's worth it, I'm sure we're all interested in new things we've not seen before 💙
Awww. This all looks amazing!! So jealous that you can get takoyaki everywhere! Keep the great videos coming! If I come to Japan I'll be messaging you for places to go and do! X
I visited Tokyo in 2019 and went to Ameyoko Market. I ate baby castella and it is delicious. I didn't know which station I had bought it. I spent the rest of the trip looking for the shop that sold it at the stations and nothing. When the borders will open again, I'll visit Japan and I already know where Baby Castella sells thanks to your video.
Arigato gozaimasu, Rion, for another great video about Tokyo and meccha oishi Japanese foods. I feel that I'm getting to know Tokyo through your channel and I'm loving it. I look forward to visiting Japan. 👍
We stayed there when we went to Tokyo. Wow i miss that place so much even though it was a short trip. We also tried panda yaki and took a walk in Ueno station. Thank you for the virtual tour Rion! It really brought back so much memories! 😊
Hi Rion, loved the tour around Ueno, seeing the the different shops and restaurants.Takoyaki looked delicious 🤤. Look forward to seeing next video.Arigato 🙏👍😀
Oh my! I already tried that Panda Yaki when we stayed in Ueno in 2018! They’re so cute but delicious at the same time 😂 We got the assorted one and it’s so fun to guess of what flavor did we get. This is the first time I’ve heard about Anmitsu and it’s very interesting dessert! Actually, it reminds me one of the famous desserts here in PH which is “Halo-Halo” and it’s good! That’s why I think I will also like Anmitsu when I get the chance to try it. 👍 Also, I am amazed on the “self-served” Takoyaki where you’re the one who will put the toppings and the sauce. For sure, I’ll put lots of bonito flakes on my Takoyaki 😆 Thank you so much Rion for giving us a virtual tour of Ueno and food suggestions on that place. It brought me back the good memories of my November 2018 trip with my friends. I can’t wait to go back to Japan! Haha! Take care always and God bless! 😊🦁 Now, I’ll invade our fridge because I got hungry! Thanks to your new gastronomic series 🤤 😆
@@paripitiffany haha! Yes! I promise that you’ll enjoy eating the Panda Yaki ❤️ 🐼 And if you also like matcha, there’s a matcha restaurant there (actually, it’s a chain restaurant) called “Nana’s Green Tea” and their matcha dessert selections are 🔥 👌 🤤
Lovin' the local views and foods! And you explain things so clearly and concisely. I'm sorry the rain ended your walking tour early. I used to dread rainy days as a teacher cuz that meant students (as much as I love them) in the classroom with me all day. But, rain brings growth, so kanpai to your growing channel!
This is the first video Ive watched of yours Rion and I'm excited to continue watching! I miss Japan a lot and hope to go back again soon. Thank you for sharing.
Rion, thank you for another nice video! The rainy season here in Okinawa just ended. Okinawa is 1 month ahead of Tokyo for the rainy season. Please keep up the great work!!
2nd video to the new segment is getting better. The editing too is getting good. Good work Rion san keep up the good work. Also thank you for posting amd sharing a piece of Japan to us. Gaoooo!!!
Aww 😍 again a great place to visit. You started your day with Pandayaki 🥳, tried to snatch Nezuko chan 😅, and ended with amazing Mochi ice cream ❤️. Foods are so presentable and make me drool here 😍. Cool stuff. Stay safe and have fun ❤️.
Omg in Ameyoko Japan they also use this area to reference of the Japanese anime series episode in clean mangas and movies that is Epic Awesome!! ,Gaaooo!!!😄🦁👍
I used to collect Hard Rock Cafe t-shirts. My uncle who used to travel internationally I think got me one from Japan. I think. Maybe it was Kuala Lumpar. I had one from D.C. and New York and Las Vegas (but they wore out).
Love the atmosphere at Ueno, especially those ramen stands, they give such local vibe, so full of energy. Will definitely try the Anmitsu! Mochi + red bean 😍
woah i miss ameyokocho, for me the takoyaki stall in ameyokocho like a mandatory takoyaki stall to go when we are in Tokyo haha 😸 Hopefully we can overcome this pandemic and free to travel everywhere. Stay Safe and stay healthy Rion!
Same weather here in the Philippines, but our rainy season will be until November. I'm glad the state of emergency have already been lifted and you can already freely move about the cities and other places. Stay safe still 😊
Thanks for including the history of Ameyoko in the video! Great video as always!
