I never realised that these owls were so affectionate with each other! How wonderful to watch them snuggle up to one another.

Thank you for committing your life energy to these wonderful animals. They deserve such from humanity. It looks like you have been very successful in learning and teaching about them. Congratulations. God loves you and so do folks that love the beauty and miracle of birds of every kind. The owls are precious to me as well.

These particular owls are closer to birds and they are cute. Thank you for investing in these owls and I hope the other owls also be taking care by conservationists.

Thank you for saving the burrowing owls! This is a really unique location/situation as well. Truly memorable. I recently put together a music video to educate the Girl Scouts about the burrowing owl and used a clip from your footage. I hope you'll check it out! I added your RUclips handle to the clip and put the link back to your video in the description below: ruclips.net/video/SyIrFtjznAk/видео.html

Extraordinary work by Mr. Johnson and now with his intern. I hope they continue to succeed looking after these amazing creatures. Hopefully, the military will not want this land back for some reason and destroy the progress made to help the owls.

I remember when the Oregon Spotted Owl was endangered in the 1980s and '90s. Were they successfully restored to safe levels? At some point it just wasn't in the news anymore. There was a big fight from the timber industry because they had to stop cutting old growth timber in some areas.

I have been watching a burrowing owl or perhaps he was watching me? I feed the hummers and other winter birds but feel the attracted blue birds chased my owl off! They would occasionally eat a Hummer but mainly they watched our 4 acre field from a thick woods on our property. I was thinking of building a burrow for them and wanted to learn what measurements you used. A lot of people around me are logging and working the land, We’re planting and enjoying the land. Only in Umatilla? There is a thriving population in Eastern Oregon. Yes save the burrowing owls but don't lie.
