That is the best idea ever. If they make a Toyko (hope I spelled that right!) set, they should include a Godzilla mini-fig (Bonus points if there's an obvious zipper!)
But it seems like "the bean" is too close to Willis Tower. When i visited chicago, i remember the Willis Tower being a bit of a travel from the bean by foot.
I love this set for another reason: the buildings are oriented in a map-accurate way. Big Red on the south end, John Hancock on the north. Everything lines up where you'd expect it. The Willis tower is correctly oriented with the lobby entrance on the south end. Cloud Gate lies to the east of that, in Millennium Park. Continuing north across the Michigan Avenue bridge, you encounter the Wrigley building, and finally the John Hancock. If you've spent time in Chicago, you'll appreciate this accuracy. Of course, Chicago' is on a street grid and sits next to a lake, so it was much easier for them to capture a "skyline" as you'd actually view it from the lake. (Something like London is tricker, as the buildings wrap around a curved Thames.) Anyway, I'm really charmed by this set.
The Eiffel Tower is the only Architecture set i've ever loved enough to get. Still hoping they'll make the Sphinx & Great Pyramid of Giza one day . . .

Hey Jang! I do believe the green colour in the water depicts when the river is dyed in green on St.Patrick's day in Chicago. I may be wrong though. In any case I liked the video!
Just got this set and it's a great deal! (Even buying it for a premium after its retired) I bought the Willis Tower set back in 2009 and managed to get my hands a few years ago on the rarer John Hancock Centre stand alone set too. Both those building are depicted here and even at a smaller scale I have to say they are so much more recognisable and detailed, just having the glass and the grills respectively adds a lot
I like when you compare these to pictures of the actual structures! I honestly didn't know what the red building was....ended up looking it it up and reading about it, good stuff JANG
hey Jangbricks, I played with Lego as a kid but then I stopped, but you and your Chanel is inspiring me and getting me back into it and I am rediscovering how amazing it is, so thank you and keep up the great work!
I missed the other video but I really like that you listen to viewer feedback! I like the idea of having a more focused Nexo Knights display; it'll be really interesting to see how the season three sets look with the older stuff.
I'm from a Chicago suburb and I was very confused by Big Red--is that really one of our most notable skyline buildings? I don't think I'd ever considered it that big of a deal...
I think it's the bold color of the building that got there attention. I lived in des plaines and went downtown to the field museum I always thought it was a good standout building.
Aaron Chesko Airborneace is saying that they normally call it that cause for them it’s still the Sears tower even tho the name changes. It’s a Chicago thing.
0:55 - They could've easily used four '6001806 - Angular Plate 1.5 Bot. 1X2 2/2.' They fill the small gap on each side perfectly, not sure why they didn't fix that given how relatively easy that was to figure out. 6001806 - Angular Plate 1.5 Bot. 1X2 2/2 - brickset.com/parts/6001806
WebheadStudios since it is so obvious, I'm sure that they would have tried it and found that it doesn't work for some reason that we can't see. Maybe they would get in the way of the pieces that they used to attach the long sides.
I think the shape of the Willis tower would a cool design for the second skyscraper, but re-texture the sides so the nobody can see in because jang doesn't want to furnish anymore
I wonder if it would be feasable to combine all of these Skyline sets into one big fictional city? With streets and everything? That would be quite an awesome project to do.
Remember when the lego architecture sets were almost perfect replicas were so good and accurate they were scary? What happened to those sets. Now we are stuck with micro scale sets
The silver ball is called the silver bean and I've been there same with roman Atwood. I live 20 min away from Chicago but I never saw big red. Also I've been every where in that lego set but big red and on real life not lego life😁.
Why have'nt they done a single skyline set or just some more architecture sets representig somethig from a non english speaking country or from a country that is'nt in like Europe or America? Any way, good review as always Jang!
Italy and Germany aren't English speaking countries. And Sydney is neither in Europe nor America. And they've only done 6 of this so far; give them time.

I always love the small architecture sets because you can get any mini figure and act out Godzilla
Braidon Hogg lol
That is the best idea ever. If they make a Toyko (hope I spelled that right!) set, they should include a Godzilla mini-fig (Bonus points if there's an obvious zipper!)
Braidon Hogg XD especially hulk!
Braidon Hogg I know right!
The lizard fella from Minifigures series 5 would be ideal :)
I liked it when Willis Tower was called Sears Tower
Have you ever been? It's really fun with the glass boxes hanging off the side that you can stand in
Griffin Studios it's getting the name changed again😂 idek what it js now
Griffin Studios- I still call it Sears Tower
Griffin Studios i have the sears tower lego set
Griffin Studios
This is the best Lego set I have ever seen in my life
I used to live close to Chicago so this set is extra cool to me
Pickle Panther me too 😉
Pickle Panther it's my hometown GO CHICAGO
Pickle Panther I'm in it😂
But it seems like "the bean" is too close to Willis Tower. When i visited chicago, i remember the Willis Tower being a bit of a travel from the bean by foot.
That arrow thing is well made !

Chicago always makes me think of Ferris Bueler's Day Off
The Eiffel Tower is the only Architecture set i've ever loved enough to get. Still hoping they'll make the Sphinx & Great Pyramid of Giza one day . . .
Raine Kaspar me too

Raine Kaspar I would like a LEGO creator expert set of those. A big pyramid and a big sphinx would be pretty awesome.
Raine Kaspar Yeah, I only got Big Ben I love architecture and buildings but this Lego series never really interested me.
I hope they will make Cairo with the pyramids, the sphinx and the great mosque.
This is the best skyline set yet.
Hey Jang! I do believe the green colour in the water depicts when the river is dyed in green on St.Patrick's day in Chicago. I may be wrong though. In any case I liked the video!
Jack Harmon you're right
The water is actually green year round unfortunately.
I just got to say. They look so accurate
I like the ,,Chicago" piece
I live near Chicago and I got to say this set is accurate to me. ;)
I've been to Chicago before it's really really nice
Just got this set and it's a great deal! Looks like a fun display!
Chicago resident here, I have no idea what this "Willis Tower" is.
Peter Guthrie ok, how about the Sears Tower instead. Heard of that?
Peter Guthrie let me guess? You like the Sears tower just like me?
Same here
and this so called "Willis Tower" is oddly familiar to the Sears Tower
I like when you compare these to pictures of the actual structures! I honestly didn't know what the red building was....ended up looking it it up and reading about it, good stuff JANG
LOVED THE ARROW!
This reminds me of Midtown Madness 1, jumping the draw bridges and racing past these buidlings
hey Jangbricks, I played with Lego as a kid but then I stopped, but you and your Chanel is inspiring me and getting me back into it and I am rediscovering how amazing it is, so thank you and keep up the great work!
As a Chicago native, this is a must-have
These Architecture sets always impress me. 😊👌
As always, very nice architecture set. I like that they are making more than one building in a set.
Same man, i was from the suburbs and i went downtown almost every month and i never remembered the red building ever being there.
I think it's the bold color of the building that got there attention. I lived in des plaines and went downtown to the field museum I always thought it was a good standout building.
It’s called the CNA Building
I lol'd when you brought out the red arrow XD
I live near Chicago and I love this set!
Grill-plates: the Lego-set
You could use the tiles with "Chicago" and other areas in your train station to show where your minifigs are going.
Didn't know any of these buildings, watched this just for the geography lesson
Nice work Jang!
SEARS Tower....its the SEARS Tower
airborneace The Sears Tower is not the official name of the building, it is the WILLIS Tower, officially.
Aaron Chesko Airborneace is saying that they normally call it that cause for them it’s still the Sears tower even tho the name changes. It’s a Chicago thing.
Hey JangBricks! Next week is my birthday!!!!
They call the sculpture "The Bean"
Chicago is rad
San Francisco must be made
Hey, I'm from Chicago! :)
0:55 - They could've easily used four '6001806 - Angular Plate 1.5 Bot. 1X2 2/2.' They fill the small gap on each side perfectly, not sure why they didn't fix that given how relatively easy that was to figure out.

WebheadStudios I don't think you would have space for those pieces if you wanted the front to be continuous
WebheadStudios since it is so obvious, I'm sure that they would have tried it and found that it doesn't work for some reason that we can't see. Maybe they would get in the way of the pieces that they used to attach the long sides.
WebheadStudios NERD!!!
WebheadStudios You're right.
I've tried it on LEGO Digital Designer and it works perfectly!
Makes it look like the skyline is sponsored by Lego with all the mini logo's on the blocks. Awesome.
I think the shape of the Willis tower would a cool design for the second skyscraper, but re-texture the sides so the nobody can see in because jang doesn't want to furnish anymore
Can u please do the Shanghai skyline next
I was missing 15 clear thingys
U inspire me jangbricks
Oh, that's great!🐼👍
I have ordered it
I wonder if it would be feasable to combine all of these Skyline sets into one big fictional city? With streets and everything? That would be quite an awesome project to do.
I live in Chicago
If they had included the Marina City towers I would have been impressed enough to buy the Chicago Skyline Set.
Cannot wait for a boston or san fransisco skyline. It'd be a great present for my dad (me being a fan of legos and him being a fan of the cities)
Isaac C I would want San Francisco
Do more bat man set reviews plz, like so jangbricks can see😜😜😜
Another great video keep up the good work jang :)
Sears Tower* As a native NO ONE calls it Willis.
Amen brother
Lego needs to make a New York Apple Store (the glass cube one) replica, you don't need to ask why I want that
Colin Pater LEGO would need to ask Apple but it would be such a cool set
Colin Pater You can make one if u get a bunch of glass LEGO pieces and get an apple sticker
I've been to Chicago countless times and never noticed the CNA Center building.
I live in Chicago and have been to all those places that are featured in the set.
I live in New York, been to Chicago, and have been to all those places that are featured in the set. Oh, how beautiful Chicago really is 🏙
Jang, will you review The Lego Batman Movie when it comes out? It would be cool to hear your thoughts
Midtown Madness
Remember when the lego architecture sets were almost perfect replicas were so good and accurate they were scary? What happened to those sets. Now we are stuck with micro scale sets
*Sears Tower
They need to do Pittsburgh!
amazing
Suddenly reminds me of Transformers 3...
Same dude lol 👌
I wonder if we will ever get the Philadelphia skyline.
I'd love to reenact some scenes from the TF movies with this set
The silver ball is called the silver bean and I've been there same with roman Atwood. I live 20 min away from Chicago but I never saw big red. Also I've been every where in that lego set but big red and on real life not lego life😁.
That's cool
Why are these architecture sets so expensive?
dragonborn2709 Because of the MAJESTIC DESIGN
Lots of pieces. It's cheaper to make a small number of large pieces than a large number of small ones.
dragonborn2709 made to be in offices or on display
there not really expensive they usally have the normal 10 cents a piece or less
dragonborn2709 detail and part count
I go to Jusco of Toys are us but there is no Lego architecture
I want Moscow to be depicted as a skuline set. I also want more non-english speaking places to be made into sets
legoman716 yes that would be amazing
legoman716 and also they made Berlin
Could you do a video about sticker application?
I hate the gray dividers in the Willis Tower between the sections. they should have just been black
I agree, but easy enough to fix I suppose.
How many city of US have they made in this series?
2 (New York and Chicago)
Troodon Las Vegas as well
Jang are you going to review the new Lego star wars a wing?
Wait till Lego does one on San Antonio.
Still waiting
Instead of big red they shoulda done the diamond building by Millenium park in my opinion
nice video
l prefer Chicago's skyline over New York city ..but I still like NYC skyline too
Jang why haven't you reviewed The Beatles Yellow Submarine Lego Idea set?
lego please release these in stores so I can buy one.
They did for most Targets. They also have them in the LEGO store
I really how they do Toronto! #ImCanadian!
nice! 😊
Now is time for Cracow and Budapest.
Paweł Gajos And Warsaw. =)
why dint they put sears tower
They did. It's just called the Willis Tower now, officially (though many still call it the Sears Tower).
HEY JANG WHERE IS THE YELLOW SUBMARINE REVIEW
I'm sorry if I look I'm angry but you just need to do it
It doesn't come with mini figs but it does have little police chalk outlines if you look closely
Hey !!!
hay that is cool
Jang you didn't review the halo spectre ambush pls review it
Why have'nt they done a single skyline set or just some more architecture sets representig somethig from a non english speaking country or from a country that is'nt in like Europe or America? Any way, good review as always Jang!
Italy and Germany aren't English speaking countries. And Sydney is neither in Europe nor America. And they've only done 6 of this so far; give them time.
Germany and Italy are in Europe and Sydney is english speaking.
We still call it the Michigan bridge
Lego should've included a pocket fan so you could mimick the harsh winds.
"I think that's how Chicago got started; a bunch of people in New York were saying 'you know, I'm really enjoying all this crime and poverty, but it's just not cold enough. Let's move west.'" - Richard Jeni
Troodon What does this have to do with winds?
