Indian Release on 21st June 2019 has been brought to India by filmmaker-distributor Ashwani Sharma through his Production House Impact Films.
“Even a cursory look at the film’s images will give you a feeling that though the film had been shot in Beirut but it looks like any big city in India and even the faces resemble our countrymen. It looks like any street in Mumbai or Delhi,” Sharma said in a statement.
Indian cinema needs to cover stories more like this on humanitarian ground instead of singing and dancing.

Absolutely wonderful film! I live in the U.S. all my life......if children here (some.......not everyone is rich here) could only see this film and harsh realities of "THOSE WITHOUT"......it may stir some much needed changes.

Big indian companies dont want peope to know the truth, so they keep financing bollywood to make song and dance movies to give poor indians a mechanism to escape their daily struggles!

this film touched me on such a deep level perhaps like no other, though it almost gave me a similar feel as The Bicycle Thief. the first time I ve watched it I cried like a baby the whole time through and still to this day when I see the trailer I get so tearful and emotional. im in awe of how real it feels as if though it is a documentary film. my upmost love, respect and gratitude to everyone involved.

Don't even know if there are enough words to express that strange feeling you get when you watch this. I was shaken deeply and couldn't stop crying for an hour. Zain, little Younas, Rahil, zahra,Zain's parents, the cockroach man, every single character in this story together showed me something that I have never seen before. Hat's off Nadine Labaki.. You are just unbelievable.Hat's off to the entire cast and Crew for making this, for showing this to us. All the privileged ppl must see this atleast once in a lifetime.😓♥️♥️
