I find my alter switch doesn’t have much change in the bridge position and in the middle position if like the tone has been rolled off of I flip the switch up. Is this normal?
Great playing man !! i know its been awhile, but do u remember it being a good gutiar for thump-over technique ? its compound radius would tell me that it would be good at it, and i mean Jimi/SRV style of playing, im thinking of this guitar for my "every technique"-guitar , and besides the fusiony stuff i also would love to be able to play those thumb over style thingys.
its almost the same feel except for the fretwire on charvel is super massive big and play much smoother and better pickup response y much better clarity
You play that thing so well, I don‘t know if I were you…. But then if you got it it‘s such a Guthrie-specific sound, would you really want that as your sound too?
its compound radius so i would say its feel small but not to small like yamaha pac, but in between ibanez rg neck n fender neck.this is compare to my rasmus GG signature model.and the fretwire is supermasive bigger then my super jumbo jescar SS
Looks to be incredibly well-built but to be honest, it's 4 grand and I don't think it's feel as comfortable as my Davies era 1992 Washburn N4 that cost me 1000 back in the day. The neck on mine is probably a little wider and flatter than the Charvel and I'm very used to it now. The jumbo frets on mine have been 'leveled and crowned' once so the slightly smaller frets allow for some very slight contact between the tips of my fretting fingers and the surface of the fretboard. The feeling of floating completely over the fretboard (like with Yngwie's scalloped neck) is not what I'd prefer. And lastly, I vastly prefer dark wood fretboards to maple (sorry Greg Howe!) .. in a nutshell, I just got very lucky in life :)

not sure about that,if it is original stock hardware and pickup should be noticeable when switching between the pickup or even roll up the tone pot
@@ermanfmd2441 thanks
@@brucegregori ur most welcome 😊

if u want to use the thumb techique i guest not really suitable since the neck compound radius is a bit small.feels between fender and yamaha pac size
