David Guetta was on before them and the whole night everyone was in speculation as to who was closing (daft punk or shm) after David it was about a 45 min wait and everyone was losing their minds waiting for some music to be played. The stage was changing, we saw them raise the dj platform about 15-20 feet higher than where it was at all weekend and the tension grew even more still not knowing who would be there. Then when they finally came on, we saw 3 silhouettes on the platform and everyone went crazy. Thousands rushed from the other stages to come see them and it was the most emotional wild experience. People were crying and hugging and jumping the whole time. I’ll never forget this night 🙌🏽 ⚫️⚫️⚫️

Imagine being spun out of your mind. Waiting for the secret set to close out the weekend. And then it dawns on you that after 5 years the band that probably got you into EDM, the band that your probably thought you'd never see again just shows up to surprise you. Probably the best day of your life.
Agustin Espinosa there are some speculations about that but as i know of the decided to do it that way as i said! That's why they did not use other cameras too :)
When SHM broke up in 2013 I thought I would never have a chance to see them perform live. I was crushed. When I saw this reunion I couldn't help but cry. It was so amazing to see the 3 of them back. We needed them so much. I am glad to say I finally got to see them live in August of 2022 at Ile Soniq in Montreal. It was certainly worth the wait. They are living legends.
The problem with todays EDM Festival crowds is that people are going there not only because of the music but rather because of the festivals reputation. In the beginnings of the 10's only the real EDM fans went to UMF, Tomorrowland and so on and nowadays there are a lot of people going there just because its mainstream.
Exactly today 2 years ago history was made, the Mafia was back. I was watching the livestream that night crying, shouting and singing. I couldn't believe they were back. I can't even imagine how it felt to be there. Those people were very very lucky. •••

From an actual lover of electronic house music I don’t think many people realise how important this is, we need them back to put things right, we need new talent to come from the same love and sound of SHM. They need to save it.

No matter how many times I've watched this, always gives me the same level of goosebumps. I will always remember me hiding in a corner in the office watching this on Ultra live at 10am and going crazy (in a very controlled manner, naturally). It's one of my highlights in 2018! I'd never be able to afford to attend one of your reunion concerts, but damn guys, you all are my inspiration of hard creative work, and I'm glad you all are back!!!!

They had the magic touch in every song they made and they sure made history. Dance music would never be the same without SHM. It's just amazing how they had the power to make great make you feel good dance music. I really miss that 😀 I feel that Axwell was the main influencer to all their songs, his music always stands out.
3 years on and I still look at this set in complete aw! Not only do I want to praise SHM for this out of this world performance but also to all the hardworking individuals involved in the pyrotechnics and lighting! This show is absolutely INCREDIBLE🧡🔥
Y’all that got to see this live were lucky. I was there that weekend but had an emergency that Sunday. What made it worse was that I had to stream it that day and for some reason, when this set started, UMF TV literally kept it on this view with VERY minimal sound coming through. I didn’t even know who was playing until I saw the three silhouettes on the screen. I remember the live chat going nuts about not being able to hear absolutely anything.

I know that a lot of the stage lights weren't working during this set but I think the minimalist aesthetic looks pretty cool. The few remaining lights pulsating from out of the darkness make the space look even more vast and vibrant than if all of them were operating at once.

They had the magic touch in every song they made and they sure made history. Dance music would never be the same without SHM. It's just amazing how they had the power to make great make you feel good dance music. I really miss that 😀 I feel that Axwell was the main influencer to all their songs, his music always stands out.

Y’all that got to see this live were lucky. I was there that weekend but had an emergency that Sunday. What made it worse was that I had to stream it that day and for some reason, when this set started, UMF TV literally kept it on this view with VERY minimal sound coming through. I didn’t even know who was playing until I saw the three silhouettes on the screen. I remember the live chat going nuts about not being able to hear absolutely anything.

I know that a lot of the stage lights weren't working during this set but I think the minimalist aesthetic looks pretty cool. The few remaining lights pulsating from out of the darkness make the space look even more vast and vibrant than if all of them were operating at once.
