    Brutus is back!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
    I really love his spunk and am guessing it will develop into confidence and strong "cooperative independence" as he starts to enjoy the domestic life. He's going to become an amazing horse for some very lucky person!

    I learned never to tap a horse on the chest to make them back because that can cause them to rear. Have you ever had a horse rear when tapping on the chest?

    Triple crown senior is the BEST!!! my mustang had ulcer and then ate acorn so she dropped a lot of weight. I put her on it and I saw an improvement in 2 weeks!

    • @CamillesMustangs

      Plain old alfalfa hay has actually ended up being the best thing to put weight on him!

      Total equine is awesome. I've been a distributor since 2005. When u mentioned weight gain I said TE. Glad you are using it. I've also used omiprazole and aloevera for ulcers. Takes about 3 weeks to begin gut change with TE and benefits are increasing over time. Looks great at this point! Good job!

    Ambassador is my fave but this guy is interesting to watch. I wanna know what he is trying to do when he is putting his head on her like that? is it that he doesnt trust yet? dominance? or something? Just really want to know the psychology of it.

    • @alexk7973

      when horses start pushing into your personal space they are not respecting you. It‘s them starting to put pressure on you, trying to get you moving, rather than the opposite. She talks about that during the video, in the part about inviting him into her space. Not only does he need to respect her if she wants to train him, but it‘s also a question of safety. If he gets too much into her personal space he could hurt her when he spooks, as he would just run over her it he needed to.

    What do you use for ulcer medication? I adopted a wild mare last feb and she foaled in April. She weaned her colt in July and I've been working on getting weight back on her. If she doesn't have ulcers will the med hurt her?

    • @CamillesMustangs
      @CamillesMustangs  3 года назад +2

      Omeprazole is the best medication. I order from Abler or you can get it from a vet. No, it will not hurt them to treat it if you're not sure they have it

    • @erika7674
      @erika7674 3 года назад

      As a donkey is also an equine, I should think the same techniques apply (although donkeys are perhaps a lot more placid than a mustang!)
