Bought replacement mirror through Amazon, $65, watched your video, took about a half hour to swap out the old mirror for the new one, looks perfect and working like a charm! Easily saved over $350 doing this myself vs dealership estimate. Thanks Viorel!
I just bought one and am wondering if the tilt functions etc. work after the install? Did you have heated mirrors on your original and if so does that still work? How about on memory on original versus replacement?
@@lemarjackson378 everything works. is important to buy the mirror with the features you had. the mirror can come without some features, so it depends of what you buy,
Your video was a great help to me; the only one I found for my year Lexus RX350. I installed a new mirror today and couldn't have done it without your help...thanks! :)
@Videouploadsoyoucansee Is not necessary, but you can disconnect it if you think you mess the wires, also probably for resetting the memory in the mirror if it has
Thanks for the video. Removing one more screw in the door handle makes it more easy to remove and put back the mirror connection because that will facilitate the removal of door panel, thereby giving for room/space to maneuver. I could not remove the mirror connection as per your instruction as my door panel top attachment were not same as in your car.
yes, you're right, but if you're not careful when you take the panel out and you not holding it in place will fall and break the clip that holds the door lock wire, then you have to replace it. so be carefull when you take the door panel down, be sure you hold it in place and disconnect everything from behind.
Different opinions, some other people found it useful, especially when was no other video showing how to do it. I myself did it without instructions or anything, I just figured out. And if even after you watch it you still couldn't figure out, I suggest to take the car to a mechanic, Is one more screw at the bottom of the inside door handle, but if you take that one out, then the entire panel will come out and is hard to put it back, many wires, and you can even break the plastic that holds the lock wire, so you better take it to someone else if this video didn't help.
If you can't comprehend removing a small little panel, 3 bolts, and unplugging the side mirror then the problem isn't the video but you. He literally showed you what to remove and that's all you need to figure this out
Swapped my wife’s mirror in 30 minutes. Thanks!

Thanks for the video, I was able to replace the RH pasenger side in 45 mins for 83 dollars vs. what the dealer's price of 863 dollars!
