Some use their parents money I bet. Especially considering some of them are so young having huge ass collections. Collecting manga is not easy. I wish I had a 1000+ collection
and have time to read that much unless you skim read or don't fully digest the story's themes emotions and pov per panel....

I'm so glad I ran into your video! I've watched so many manga collection videos both in English and Spanish and you are the only one who owns almost all my favourite mangas (being Tokyo Ghoul the only exception) and they are all in this video. I mean, this is the first time I see Yuyu Hakusho, Shaman King, Rurouni Kenshin and Inuyasha all together in a single video. I really enjoyed it and saw some really interesting ones I've never heard of, so thanks. :D
Fullmetal Alchemist is my top fave manga series too. I'm also a big fan of the Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood anime. I just got my Fullmetal Alchemist box set at last year december 2017. XD
Instead of getting the out of print Cardcaptor Sakura volumes I would wait for the new collectors edition that's coming out by Kodansha this summer. It is apparently the english release of the japanese collectors editions and I believe they will be up to standard to the Sailor Moon Eternal Edition but I'm unsure. More details should arrive soon.

Wonderful collection! I wish I had your wall space for more shelves. I've barely got any room left in my room for more manga. I'd like to own a lot of the series you have like Baby and Me, Flame of Recca, etc. I agree with you that Hikaru no GO is an amazing series. I haven't read the series in about 7 years since the manga ended in the US so I recently begun rereading it. It's still as good as I remembered it.

I’ve only gotten in to manga a little- I tend to lean towards anime. But Inuyahsa is my first anime and very special to me as well!!💕💕(other than DragonBall & DBZ but I don’t really consider those my first anime cause I saw them as a kid)

Jelly Rae Studios hi! I bought my bookcase from Ikea. They are the Billy Bookcase series. They were about $55/ea CAD and i bought extra shelves for $10 ea as they come with 5 shleves each book case :) ive had them for years and they are still in good shape. Omg your first 2 shelves are perfect. It's sad because I can't have as estetic shelves as you because for example my completed naruto, one piece and fma are all in finish and the books are smaller than the english ones. And also my hikaru no go set is in japanese and I also don' t have space so rip my shelf :(

Wow that’s a lot of Tokyo Pop manga!
I also collect manga's. Ironically you have quite a few series that I own too , plan on buying , or have read and liked. I just want to tell you about collecting red river; I just finished collecting the series and if your not already aware, it's going to be a very difficult to collect series. I honestly recommend just buying a set either complete or near complete. If it's near complete make sure it has volumes 15 and 16, those are the 2 hardest to find volumes. After that comes volumes 3,12,17,18,19 and 20. I don't know if there are any anime conventions where you live however if you plan on collecting single volumes, anime cons can save you a lot of money. That's where I got most of my volumes for 1/2 the original price and then struggled online to get the remaining 11 that I needed. Do not buy any manga under any circumstances from AMITCJ, or Better books (third party Amazon sellers). Sorry to write so much I just wanted to try to help you. You probably already know all of this and have trusted online sellers however; I think you collection is great and I not only want to see you continue to collect but I'd be thrilled to see red river added to your collection. It's a huge favorite of mine and I think you would like it too . I also own about 1,700+ volumes and have been collecting for 10 years. I don't have a you tube manga collection video however I also own Basara, From far away, Skip beat, HxH, and Boys over flowers. Good luck collecting red river !
Yea, I'm looking at only purchasing the complete set of Red River and not collecting them as single vol due to the rarity. I've been looking for years and the most I have ever seen it being sold as complete is at $850 CAD on e-bay. I'm just waiting for it to be sold for a little cheaper, if not, I will pay the big bucks but at this time I'm just waiting out. I love Red River! so Im glad to hear that it's a favorite of yours =) not many people know about it. I only collect manga that I have read before and really like. omg i didnt know high school debut had a vol 14 and 15! Are they like short stories? Or are they part of the story line
they are part of the main story. I think before, 13 vol was considered the complete but I think the mangaoka added two more volumes. On Mangaupdates, 15 vol is listed as complete for the series =) - m

If you don’t have it you might want to get Naruto the seventh hokage and the scarlet spring, it’s what leads up to boruto

3:41 Why is GTO: The Early Years from volumes 1-10 are Tokyo Pop and 11-15 are Vertical Comics?
Himari Natsuki Tokyo pop went out of business so all the manga tittles they had were dropped including gto and a bunch of other popular tittles. Verticle later picked up the rest of gto early years and published the remaining in english. :)

You don't have Dragon Ball Super, Cowboy Bebop, Samurai Champloo, Wolf's Rain, Sgt. Frog, Goku Midnight Eye, Tokyo Mew Mew, Sora wo Miageru Shoujo no Hitomi ni Utsuru Sekai, Jaco the Galactic Patrolman.

I would advise to buy manga you have read and enjoyed rather than blind buying manga you have not read because you can end up wasting your money (as manga can be quite pricy) if you find out in the end you don’t like the manga. 99% of my manga were bought only after I read each series online and is a careful selective collection rather than a collection of manga just to have because its manga :) But if you really want to own a series just to start off your collection anyways, manga boxes are the best way to go as they are affordable and most boxes contain half or full series - Manga box series are available on amazon for the following series - Full metal alchemist, Naruto, Bleach, Vampire knight, sailor moon, one piece, claymore, black bird, ouran highschool host club, bakmon and Death note. Death Note, and I say that for anyone wanting to start watching manga/anime without it being TOO over-the-top with the OP powers, and fight battles.
If you haven't heard of it, it's basically a psychological battle of the world's two best minds. 10/10, was my first anime, and my first manga. It helped ease me into Japanese entertainment, and has one of (if not) the best anime's of all time. As well as, (probably) the best English dubbed actors of all time. I actually prefer the English dub over the Japanese audio, and that's saying something.

Nice collection. Have you heard of "Kingdom"? I highly recommend it. Although they don't sell any English copies in America. You have to read it online, its free. It sucks that people don't know much about it because you cant buy it. I'm trying to spread the word so that more people know about it. I hope you get a chance check it out. It's Phenomenal.
