How to Repair a ZIP File for Free!

Free repair of damaged/corrupted ZIP files tutorial with free tools only - because I had ZIP-File troubles just recently, I decided to share the solutions that worked for me! Please subscribe to support this channel. RUclips is very strict!
Worked for my case (might not work for you):
► WinZip with Command Line Tools: www.winzip.com/... and www.winzip.com/...
1. Shift-rightclick near the zip file to open a Command Prompt window
2. Type: "C:\Program Files\WinZip\wzzip" -yf zipfile.zip
3. Press Enter on the keyboard
► ZFX (Zip2Fix): leelusoft.alter... - Just execute ZFX.exe, click on open and select the damaged ZIP archive, Zip2Fix will process it quickly and will create a new ZIP archive that contains the good files.
Did not work for my case (might work for you):
► DiskInternals ZIP Repair www.diskintern...
► Object Fix Zip www.essentialda...
In either software, simply select the zip file you want to fix. Follow steps in the video.
GOOD LUCK REPAIRING YOUR BROKEN ZIP FILES! Often a re-download helps if you can't fix it at all.

The Winzip website show the tutorial but it didn't tell me I need an addon and the only download button would download the software itself
I followed the tutorial and nothing happened except for the cmd showing error I gave up and watched this video and it was the same

I have file .rar but I own a file, but there is a type of virus that has spread an extension inside the compressed file with a peer name, first in cylinder format, and now the file is not open, but the files on disk C do not have a problem.

My DiskInternals ZIP Repair found 0 god dammned files. despite the zip being 35gigs in size, and I explicitly remember what was in there, but no thins sofware

Make sure to cd (change directory) to where the broken zip is located.
