@@juito4387 I know, I also know the Hizaki Grace Project and Node of Sherzo :-) Don't get me wrong, I quite dig him and he's an amazing live musician (seen him with Jupiter in 2019), but there are way better guitarists, especially from Japan. Hide (X-Japan + solo), Sugizo (Luna Sea + X-Japan + solo) or Syu (Galneryus + solo) are examples of better guitarists. Hizaki plays pretty clean, super fast and has some great melodies, but when you listen through his full career, you'll find very similar patterns over and over again etc.
@Fede Catalano Well, definitely ONE of the best, but there is no "THE" best... Just listen to Syu's solos (Galneryus - Raise my Sword, Angel of Salvation - Syu solo: Akatsuki, Euphoria). I think, there is definitely a (at least) 3-seat throne :-D

Loved this performance/demo. The 2 angles focusing down on the body and towards the bottom 1/3 of the neck gave me some of the best viewing I've come across of your picking hand and its as tight as I expected. Some of the subtle sweeps and hybrid picking thats sprinkled throughout is fantastic and a great inspiration to practice. Also, I have loads of respect for the scalloped frets from 13 on down.

New favorite guitarist :) Not up there with Satriani but also not far off. I always liked the neo classical vibe but no one's ever done it well. This blend of power metal with neo classical is great.
