i lived on sherlock crescent a few doors away from the king, i was living with my uncle at the time, my uncle use to get records from Tubbys regularly, hes got plenty classics and unreleased stuff loads, i manage to get a holdall full during my time there, met him loads of times!!

@wildlifegully48 Yeah man because I have a collection of songs from King Tubby Studio with Johnny Clark, Jacob Miller, Linval Thompson, Wayne Wade, Hugh Mundell, Larry Marshall, Cornell Campbell, Yabby You plus many more, those songs was from in the early to late 70s, plus he did alot of mixing for other Recording Labels as he was the real Man at the time during dat Era, then Scientist & Jammy Era was from late 70s to mid 80s, but I think Scientist dominate dat Era up to 1984-1985 until Sleng Teng Riddim was born, Then Jammys take the leading Spot.
What I don’t understand why his brother never take up all king tubby equipment out the studio because it’s all in a European museum in foreign that belongs in Jamaica those mfs come a Jamaica and buy out everything and send it European country sale out thing that tubbys a father inna this music we love call reggae
