I bought a crafter blue for my blumo and had the same issue regarding the uncomfortable fit. I just can’t wear it. Shame.

big space between case and strap and no fur mat to stick out of that? unacceptable...
a 4mm strap at its thinnest is definitely not thick. linguists would disagree. it is either in the thicc category or the super elusive thique range.
in all seriousness, the crafter blue strap looks great on the watch, but i've always had some reticence towards curved, fitted straps. imho, the cool way of doing that is to have a metal link, like the endlink of a bracelet, that the strap comes out of.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! That's the funniest thing I've read in a while especially the "super elusive thique range". Although I kinda like the distinction of rubber between the lugs, I see what you mean about straps with metal end links! You know strapcode has a mm style waffle bracelet for this watch with metal end links for it which looks super cool. I'd get it but the one I want (black one) is out of stock...

@@zikandesu Heh, glad to bring a smile. You are right, this requires a black strap for sure. I don't know too many strap manufacturers that make metal end links for straps. Just checked and Uncle straps don't make them either. Beyond that and Strapcode, not sure where to look.

I ended up messaging strapcode but no response yet. I found one on Rakuten in Japan. Just ordered one. Seems backward to be buying something from Japan that was original produced by a local company : \
