It would be okay if the engine just failed. The problem is, its on flames, there is a big chance that it can catch the cabin on fire, smoke can cause the passengers to suffocate.. or worse, an explosion..

Lots of seagulls and other birds, the area below is a protected bird sanctuary. So most likely a bird got sucked into the engine.....I only fly PAL in and out of the Philippines. MABUHAY PAL!!!

Sir kung alam niyo lang gano kahigpit ang Lufthansa Technik Philippines sa pagmmaintain ng aircraft ng PAL and iba pang airlines. Quality ang gawa niyan and hindi yan irerelease ng may defect na alam na makakapahamak sa safety ng crew and its passengers. Accidents can happen anytime at hindi mo agad agad pwedeng iconclude na ang maintenance ang problema ng walang further investigation dahil pwedeng developed trouble yan sa flight.

ganyan din nangyari sa amin 18yrs ago after taking off from manila philippines.PAL din ng airplane. the pilot circled around china sea for atleast two hours and we landed back to ninoy aquino airport and ressume the flight the next morning so i celebrated christmas twice in a year.. sa manila and then here sa US :)
Sa totoo lang magagaling Pilot natin, kaso parang di na namamaintain ung airlines natin.
dude...hindi pinapalipad ang eroplano pag walang maintenance clearance...accident can happen anytime...fyi din...lufthansa technik ang nagme-maintain ng pal airplanes...international calibre yan!
Sir kung alam niyo lang gano kahigpit ang Lufthansa Technik Philippines sa pagmmaintain ng aircraft ng PAL and iba pang airlines. Quality ang gawa niyan and hindi yan irerelease ng may defect na alam na makakapahamak sa safety ng crew and its passengers. Accidents can happen anytime at hindi mo agad agad pwedeng iconclude na ang maintenance ang problema ng walang further investigation dahil pwedeng developed trouble yan sa flight.
