Even Roberts said that it was very hard for him and teammates to communicate with Ohtani, because Mizuhara took control over any communications with Ohtani. It is most likely than not that Mizuhara controlled all kinds of communications with banks, hospitals, car dealers, and agent's office, so that he has had every chance to manipulate anything on Ohtani's daily life.
