Funhaus trying to tell me I don't know what the 90's was in the desc, I'll have you know that I was 7 before it was 2000. I have some basic concepts of the 90's down. People wore a lot of plaid.
Bruce and James are just like 5 year olds, they are easily entertained, they sometimes speak in stupid voices and they'll laugh at almost anything - I love it
This is the episode that introduced me to funhaus. I have since watched every God damn episode of demo disk (some more than once) and I regret absolutely nothing!
I love the casual reference in the description to what Funhaus know most of their audience are, born in the 2000's and not the 90's. Pretty sure I fit right in the age demographic as a 16 year old, probably why this channel appeals to me so well.
As a huge fan of the nethergate series and spiderweb software in general I have to say this is 1000% accurate with what it is like randomly stumbling upon one of those games. Non intuitive interface, charmingly bad drawings and mountains upon mountains of very descriptive text. That being said I am surprised you guys got as much usable footage out of that game as you did and I am happy you guys found a game from a series I assumed would never be mentioned or talked about ever.
I was born in 97 also, I remember Y2K (only cause all the lunatics that kept trying to sell survival shit and shelters to my grandparents). But yeah that's about it. Still miss it though.
I don't get the whole 90s kid thing, it's not like everything in the 90s disappeared as soon as 99 ended. I was born in 99 and all my toys and all the movies on vhs i watched came out in the 90s
I love it how even though they are not playing Overwatch they still find a way to put something from Overwatch in the video when they did not even need to. 7:16
History lesson: The Vietnamese pilot on he left was a suspect Vietcong soldier that was captured by the south Vietnam army after the Tet offensive. That particular photo was taken a few seconds before he was shot point blank in the head by a south Vietnamese general for being a suspected VC soldier. The Tet offensive took place on Vietnamese new year or Tet when there was a fake truce set up Ho Chi Minh (of N. Vietnam) and Ngo Dinh Diem (of S. Vietnam). This meant that alot of American troops took that period of time off and some even went home. Then the Vietcong attacked the capital of S. Vietnam and other cities. VC soldiers often carried a list of political delegates in S. Vietnam to find and kill. The VC took over the national radio station and started broadcasting communist propaganda. They even attacked the American embassy in the capital which was considered an attack on American soil by the American generals. The Tet offensive was so effective that the VC nearly managed to remove the American GIs (General infantry) from key points of power. The Vietcong however did lose all ground taken and nearly all of their soldiers in the following years when the American army came back to fight them in a more traditional sense of war not unlike ww2.
I knew that picture was familiar, I was like " wait a minute, i'm pretty sure that guy was getting shot in the head at that moment" I like funhaus and their dark comedy, but putting that image to make fun of is a little too far, isn't it? then again some people might still find it funny.
Fun Fact: Jake Reiner, son of legendary actor/writer/director Rob Reiner, is a News Reporter for KPRC Channel 2 in Houston. His chin's so sharp, it could cut through diamond. I done seen it on the tv box! *Todd Howard voice*
Bruce, please bring back song parodies to Demo Disk. They were the only moment of sunshine in the shitpile that is my life. I need them sweet sweet parody lyrics of pop 40 hits, bro.
18 minutes of demo disk from 7 years ago before i slumber
James' pained recoil when he saw what kind of game REAL WAAAAR is was fantastic.
12:36 When James realises it's an RTS game. One of my favourite Demo Disk moments!
"we gotta fix their way of life... with missiles" -adam kovic, most american american
Whoever edited this video did a top job.

+The Aeonian I keep forgetting that's Adams quote
"This missle's called 'democracy'... here's six of them." - My new favorite Funhaus quote.
I wish Bruce would start singing again.
same here 🙁
It would make my day if Bruce would sing again. His voice was like a songbird
he stopped because more people hated it then the people who liked it
I miss my little songbird
Bruce's voice is beautiful
The warhammer bit was probably the hardest i've laughed in a while, if commercials like that ended up being made by you guys i'd be a happy individual
11:31 I love how Bruce makes the joke James was going to make and James is so excited about it
LMAO this editing was awesome. Nice job to whomever edited it. Oh yeah, and you did pretty good too, Adam, Bruce and James.
Funhaus trying to tell me I don't know what the 90's was in the desc, I'll have you know that I was 7 before it was 2000. I have some basic concepts of the 90's down. People wore a lot of plaid.
I never stopped wearing plaid
Fancy seeing you here
You could tell it was lawrence who wrote the desc lmao
i didn't know you watch funhaus
"Real War: Coming August 2001" looks like they were a month late on the release date...
I mean you’re not wrong.
Very good!
I've never had my hobby in 40k summarized so accurately. Now I feel like shit about myself. Thanks, Funhaus, keep up the good work!
The editing on all Funhaus videos is stellar but Lawrence's editing is always exceptional on demo disk
Never thought of a day these guys would go away :(
Bruce and James are just like 5 year olds, they are easily entertained, they sometimes speak in stupid voices and they'll laugh at almost anything - I love it

Did Adam write the description for this one? It looks like Kovic's depressing writing. ;_;
looks like lawrence sarcasm
nope.
+Josh That's part of the joke in the description
peak does the descriptions.
I thought they said Elyse did the descriptions after Joel left?
Seth Rogen is gonna take your idea of RobertCop and make a movie outa it.
more like adam sandler
"You are Cutter Slade in a new journey in Shamshasha"
I can't thank you enough for the epilepsy protection bit. 19 months seizure free and even you guys are helping
I always have the same reaction as James whenever I see an RTS.
Great editing. I envy the skill of whomever acomplished the task. Really really funny.
I really really really hope they get together to play the sequel
Bruce and Adam are the two types of people in terms of handling disc 😂
I love the casual reference in the description to what Funhaus know most of their audience are, born in the 2000's and not the 90's. Pretty sure I fit right in the age demographic as a 16 year old, probably why this channel appeals to me so well.
I don't think that's something you should be proud of lmao
CandaceK007 Didn't say I was proud it's just interesting.
he's reverse-joking
Completely agree with you dude I'm 16 and I absolutely love Funhaus.
Completely agree with you dude I'm 16 and I absolutely love Funhaus.
Miss these days ❤️
You guys are some of the funniest people on RUclips keep it up!!!
Is that Dennis from "Always Sunny" in their wallpaper?
Yeah he was in a shitty program called 'that 80s show'

Does anyone else recognize the sounds at 6:47 from the theme song of Man Seeking Woman? Or am I insane.
After watching so many episodes of this they finally played a game I used to own. Real War! Ah, nostalgia...
13:28 i love james snarky college dorm politician
Watching this again after seeing outcast is coming back lmao
lmao I just saw a tagline in the trailer that said "Cutter Slade returns" and knew I remembered it from somewhere
12:30
"I wanna be known for SOMETHING."
But you are, Adam.
It's like Skyrim with guns.
woke up early and first though on my mind was ... funhaus
I become irritable before I get my morning funhaus dosage
:) I feel ya mate anyway have a good one
Same here.
you guys make me laugh through the hard times, keep up the good work :D
Anyone else notice the animal sound at 5:16 is a common sound used for deer in RDR2?
I wanna say I missed the first half of the nineties, but alas, with the miracle of re-runs, I missed nothing, and I regret that.
I love it when they zoom in on the censored parts while talking about what's happening in the pictures
I was working on my miniatures when the 40k jokes started.
My life is totally justified now.
I was born in 97 so I TECHNICALLY am a 90s kid. Suck it description.
I was born in 97 also, I remember Y2K (only cause all the lunatics that kept trying to sell survival shit and shelters to my grandparents). But yeah that's about it. Still miss it though.
1988 kid :P When the 80's stopped being shitty apparently.
I don't get the whole 90s kid thing, it's not like everything in the 90s disappeared as soon as 99 ended. I was born in 99 and all my toys and all the movies on vhs i watched came out in the 90s
***** I remember the 90s. (sorta) I know people were freaking out in 99 and my parents were shrugging it off as stupid.
You were a 90s toddler.
Thank you Adam for having the courtesy to show us the disk :)
HIS NAME WAS ROBERT COP
Nothing like staying up til 1am to see mediocre comedians play bad games. I love you guys.
Mediocre ? really ? more like lowocre .
perfect description
+siriuslycan inb4 this is in the next "we read your comments" video
hey, Mr. Description sir, i was born in 92, so technically, i was a 90s kid....
KID. as in your non-working broke child ass wasn't buying all the games with e's and i's ! still applies! lol
technically, i was a 90s toddler
96
His description was aimed at people born in 2000 onward. That would mean you do count and it didn't apply to you.
"August 2001, that's my birthday" There's not even a day in that Bruce
Anyone else continually refresh the funhaus page when it's upload time?
Every morning
Only way to live
Roosterteeth sponsor master race get it a day early with the exact upload time.
No
It always makes my day when I see a new FH video uploaded.
I love it how even though they are not playing Overwatch they still find a way to put something from Overwatch in the video when they did not even need to. 7:16
Robert Cop works in my area! That was the Palisades Mall. To think I've lived so long in the shadow of such a great hero.
i was born in the 90's thank you very much
One of your best yet guys.
I liked how it zoomed in on the pixelation right at the end there so we could see it better.
Man, outcast demo like my favorite video to see because it from the first few demo disk. Literally remember everything they said in that video.
4:38 "Was there audio last time?"
"Sure am!"
I love it when the build up to a game is amazing and then they realise it's an RTS hahaha
you know as someone who has epilepsy i sure appreciate the epilepsy protection. keep it up guys!
Honestly made me fucking cry laughing. This video was amazing. Keep it up, and whoever edited it, gg.
Amazing editing in this video!
Did no one notice that the Aquaman-look-a-like at 2:40 looks like Adam?
Never thought the day would come when I enjoyed fh more than ah
Best vfx I've seen from you guys in ages. Legit some of them made me laugh as much as the jokes. Keep dat shit up son.
Now I have Arnold Schwarzenegger in my head. One of the reasons why I enjoy your content Funhaus.
I like how adam thought that beaching a aircraft carrier to get one tank was the best course of action
So glad James is back in our dimension.

Maybe someone had learned something today. If so. You're welcome.
Good read man, thanks

+venomousbite I thought that was really, really uncool. That is a picture of a man being killed.
Came to the comments to see if anybody noticed.... At least a few people did.
the editing in this video is phenomenal
This demo disk was the best one yet. The editing was great and the Games workshop part killed me. 88/8 m8
hey james every joke you make sounds like a rick and morty episode i love you
Adam not knowing which button to press is part of the comedy
Fun Fact: Jake Reiner, son of legendary actor/writer/director Rob Reiner, is a News Reporter for KPRC Channel 2 in Houston. His chin's so sharp, it could cut through diamond.
I done seen it on the tv box! *Todd Howard voice*
He is a Robert! he is a cop! He is a Robert Cop! The furniture of law enforcement.
"I'll be back" - Robert Cop.
Great editing in this episode guys!
Bruce, please bring back song parodies to Demo Disk. They were the only moment of sunshine in the shitpile that is my life. I need them sweet sweet parody lyrics of pop 40 hits, bro.
When they started talking about Outcast, I started singing "HEEEEYYY YAAAAAAA"!
Adam you are known for something silly, the guy who said "like skyrim with guns" no one will ever forget that.
The edits were REALLY good this episode.
The editing on these videos has been fucking phenomenal lately.
yes finally after so many time of nearly getting DOW on steamroullete yes and painting while watching yes!!!
Warhammer40k?
yes
I mean, TECHNICALLY it's not Dawn of War. It's better! :D
I DONT CARE I WANT MORE MMMMMMMMMMPH
I feel like Bruce is everyones cool hip uncle who just wants everyone to gave a good time, wear their seatbelts and eat their vegetables
The comments on real war were so good - loved it
And it was just another tale, in the world if Shamshashar.
Adam: "we gotta fix their way of life......with missiles" Best line ever spoken by anyone at Funhaus.
Its surprising what that graphics I used to be amazed at back in the 90s and early 00s look like now lol.
Yay, they spoke about warhammer 40k!
lawrence really is a funny guy now. this is the best youtube channel ever!!!
The opening graphic! First last week now this. It's never going to end! it's the demo disk black hole of inception!
That AD on the demo disk would fit perfectly with the start of Lawrence's livestreams.
"I am flying. Space is slow" - Adam Kovic 2016
you guys help me get through the Mondays
BRUCE.... SING
war
guy in the tank after he destroyed an aircraft carrier "I can blow up the whole god damn world in this tank"
Great, so you restarted the civil war in South Sudan, proud of you!
Man the editing was hilarious!
Hey funhaus, the commercial you guys used about the war hammer. The games workshop, I was in that. Lol
You know demodisk is good when they replay demos.
