3:00 I was the one that got the tattoo 😅 was definitely worth it. It was one of the best times of my life, I travelled on my own from London and spent a week in San Fransisco, the tattoo was a souvenir of my time there and what better tattoo than the open sauce logo.
You should definitely schedule the podcast you record this year to go public when you start selling tickets for next year; could help drive a lot more tickets :)
Idk where all this disposal income is hiding 😔 I frickin wish I could go though, I've been watching these guys independently for years and was flabbergasted when they all grouped up together
41:49 "Hey guys... does anyone need electrical pulses measured, timed and displayed graphically? Because- " "We all know you brought your oscilloscope, Phil"
Thanks for making the videos available for those of us that can't make it! I really wanted to come to both of these events, but I just couldn't afford the plane & hotel fees. :(
It would have to be a smaller side event for it to be done out of Cali by the looks of it. He received a lot of help from family and close friends to organize it and build stuff for it. God knows how much money is using his own property to store props and merchandise saved in warehouse costs. Making the event in another state would require lots of big daddy sponsors.
So you have chat control the robot to make meth, but it can only follow the proper set of instructions, so chat triggers the action, then you cannot go near the meth, but you can however put the robot in a locked room, and then rent out the key to the room to whoever wants the meth, would that work?
The robot arm drugs idea would actually work if it weren't for the ever-creeping precursor laws that consume every mildly useful chemical to the process of making anything(go look it up, the precursor laws are horrible right now) so you pretty much would have to do Twitch makes 30 different illegal precursors and then combines them into drugs
Rats mice and such cannot survive a fall from an airplane. They are small but they aren't made for this. Squirrels are and use their huge tails as a rudder and they spread out their body to fall slowly and land on their feet.
Got me thinking about how to make a live bee-shooting Nerf gun... I'm envisioning a sort of discarding sabot, then a spring or spring analogue to stretch the bee ∆v over as long a period as possible, then the bee, then maybe a layer of plastic wrap to keep the bee from crawling out of the barrel. Of course we're essentially talking a bee muzzleloader, so getting live bees in there would itself be a technical challenge - maybe some sort of bee ramrod?? Edit: oh should've kept watching hahaha... close enough
People who can afford to live in California and go to open house there can afford to fly somewhere else, have the next open sauce in Texas unless you’re stupid
I mean people definitely could but you're gonna have a lot fewer people from California showing up if they're having to pay $3-400 for a plane ticket on top of entrance cost and when people from California are one of their main demographics that doesn't seem like a great idea. Like I'd go to it here in California if i had the money right now but I can't see myself flying to texas for it even if i had the money

@@Industry-insider no because California has the most population and SF is like right next to silicon valley which means you've got a ton of people who are interested in this type of stuff concentrated in one area. Combined with a ton of people who do like special effects type stuff down in la and it's like the perfect mix. Like there's definitely people who would still go with it in Texas I just don't see it being as big of a turn out, I feel like a lot of the people making crazy shit in Texas are doing it there cause they wanna be left alone and not draw attention to the stuff they're building. Could be totally wrong but they did say most of the tickets are from local people

@@felixman9691 😁 I wondered if anyone who got a picture would see this.
This was my plan for this weekend!!!!!!!
Cool! :D
@@kindnessmattersffs Go for it 😊
One, where are my pants? Two, will there be film at eleven?

Idk what you mean, theyve been talking about it for months
@@sirepanfried8641I think he means that the podcast that will be recorded 2024 should be released when the 2025 tickets start being sold
Already on sale
Kevin's boyscout drip is unreal
Nigel: I'm afraid of explosives, also Nigel: puts fuming nitric acid on his hands
Kevin has his arrow of light award. Pretty neat!
Man's only got to first class 💀
Still cool to see tho
Easy mode, I had to build an orphanage with my own hands to get my Boy Scout badge
Even though he's only a tenderfoot lmao
Anyone else here because you were there last year and couldn't hear this in person
@@Muddytony20 nope that's tenderfoot
I'm not coming to opensauce, but I'm super excited for all the content
Idk where all this disposal income is hiding 😔
I frickin wish I could go though, I've been watching these guys independently for years and was flabbergasted when they all grouped up together
Nigel Nigel Nigel Nigel🎉
So that explains the crowd on the mark rober/allen pan vid on the open sauce channel.....
Wew, waited a year for this to drop

son, your a dissapointment
41:49 "Hey guys... does anyone need electrical pulses measured, timed and displayed graphically? Because- "

Shit I'm not driving, sorry guys you get my view when I'm on the highway
Bee-Bee Gun, just say it already!
About to get on the plane...so fucking excited!!
Waiting in the SeaTac airport, see y’all there
12:47 Classic Allen Pan accidental Nazi reference
NIGEL!!!!
Imagine wearing a scout uniform with just the scout patch.
this is like the GTA 4 in game comedy show that talks about weed
Nigel just looks like he's constantly in a confused panic
I just flew 15 hrs to hear Nigel on the pod again.
Thanks for making the videos available for those of us that can't make it! I really wanted to come to both of these events, but I just couldn't afford the plane & hotel fees. :(
open sauce is at the top of my bucket list
im saying it now it is the next CON i will attend
God I wish I could be at Open Sauce
Fingers crossed my schedule will line up next year!
Loved the audience question segment
Thank you big willy.
Dude you should do a podcast in the middle of Open Sauce so people can just walk in and out of the podcast
Open sus.
openSUSE
I wish I could go to open sauce, but it's 3000 miles away
Good luck this year!
I walked in right at the end of this, so I'm glad I finally get to watch it.
Loved the Q&A!
i have been waiting for a year for this video
now there is only the smart people panel left
That one's already public on the open sauce channel
@@noodlelynoodle. oh my bad i mean the smart people, the one that had Nigel
@@asteriacipherines ah no worries just wanted to let ya know if ya didn't lol
Still hasn't been published :/
I cant attend opensauce because I am doing a lab for 2 months everyday all day so thanks for the upload!
Michael + Nigel podcast is actual insane
NYC next time pls
I would pay so much for a NYC Opensauce or live Safety Third

It would be great, but it's only possible because everyone/thing is so close
4 minutes in and I beet everyone was questioning why they are there.
12:49 out of context frame
This is the peak Safety Third edition
why is his voice so deep at the live show
different mic
Exhaustion probably lol

Now this is Pod Racing!
allen's voice is SHOT
why is keven in a scout uniform
I recently changed my name, in Canada it costs $100 and takes several months
Don't you want to change the YT description for this channel?
There's still Nigel listed as the second host, lol
YAY NIGELLLLLL
Loved that 😁
Cute pod. Perfect Asian ratio. More Nigel pls

6:00
is there a clip of the mark rober thing at the end lol
Im so adhd the audio split just sounds normal to me
The closest I'll ever get to being at open sauce
Is it just me or is everyone's voice deeper? Maybe there is a framerate mismatch?
their voices are probably abit hoarse and also the acoustics are completely different on a big stage like that. but yeah

You can pay for opensauce content, its in the description.
I’m in australia. But I really hope William doesn’t fuck it up. Good luck boys.
Allen knowing what poppers are...kinda fruity ;)
I mean like there is science stuff from Israel doesn't necessarily need to talk about the conflict though..
