    Thank you Sir, for I come from where raining seasons are heavy. Now I know the period that is optimal for planting and GOD's willing we shall partner in the future.
    Thank you so much.

    You should have planned to grade the farm land at almost 10 degrees for rainy water run-off to reduce root rot. I also noticed that you have put out your nursing apple plant to early in the field, and try leaving them in a bag until the roots are well established before transplanting. Just an advice.

    Very important information you just gave about the time of year best suited for planting. I have to send in my import permit so I'm going to delay it since we are experiencing an unusually wet rainy season in the eastern caribbean.

    I planted mine in August too last year and they are doing really well. I have just pruned them and applied the mixture spray to the tree to get rid of the fungus.

      @@caniceonuoha Oh great job. How many trees do yo have in your farm please? It will be nice to showcase what you have. It will really go a long way to encourage others. If we can find ourselves (Wambugu Apple growers in Nigeria) that will be wonderful. We can join hands to help ourself grow and navigate challenges. We can even form an association. What do you think?

      @@al-abraarapplefarmdiary9630 I planted 55 trees but one of them was uprooted by children playing around the area. Right now it is fenced and under lock and key.
      Currently I am not in Nigeria but I will reach out once I am back

    Try to watch videos of kate and co...she stated the soil should be well drain..i believe well drained soil could reduce or eradicate such damages

    • @al-abraarapplefarmdiary9630
      @al-abraarapplefarmdiary9630  Год назад

      You are right. The problem was a water logged soil. If the soil is well drained it won't matter if you plant in the middle of raining season or not

    Thank you for the information. I am in Ogun State. I have been trying to locate a place where I can buy Wambugu apple seedlings in Nigeria. Can you connect me with the company you buy your Wambugu apple seedlings? If you also have seedlings for sale, I can buy them from you. Please help me out, brother. Thanks for your support

    I had similar experience with two of my apple seedlings planted in November. What could be the cause? Fungi or water? The apples showed this sign while still in the nursery bag.

    • @al-abraarapplefarmdiary9630
      @al-abraarapplefarmdiary9630  Год назад

      I think now in retrospect that it was the water. Once the apples get too much water the leaves turn black and they become dormant and can even star dying. They also don't grow if they don't get enough water.

    I think your soil was the problem not the weather. Your site doesn't seem to have good draining soil

  • @lumbanimvula8704
    @lumbanimvula8704 Год назад

    The area you have planted your apples is not good since water cannot be drained.
    The green algae shows that the place or the soil is somehow water logged

    Sir, You'd better watch all other videos on Wambugu Apples and compare with your way of doing, and you'll certainly discover your weaknesses.
