We were in Ambleside yesterday, we visit several times a year, however we spend nearly every weekend up on the fells surrounding it. It’s a stunning little town, as is Grasmere & Keswick. They are the main hiking/Climbing towns.
I think if I lived in the river house I'd be wanting to visit to loo all the time listening to the river flowing underneath🤣 gorgeous little house though
Looks a good place to house migrants lessons be learned all round putty no flats 20 high or so to take in the views seems a waist of space did find a a few spars though have to love the places coop will set up shop that asda would not touch each to there own I suppose. Psychology nice video. For loggers and house builders to plan on cheers .
There’s a specially trained team of Men and Women who sweep the streams rivers and lakes in the early hours of the day clearing away all traces of decomposing bodies and shopping trolleys, they are the unseen heroes of the Lake District .🥷
The nearest supermarket is miles away. No shopping trollies anywhere near here...... Richard, perhaps you ought to visit Appleby horse fair? It's a little more lively than Ambleside, and usually boasts around 30 to 40 arrests for violence and public order offences each year.......
Such a lovely place albeit for the traffic but that can’t be helped. Some lovely shops and buildings thank you for letting me stroll with you keep on walking 🚶🏻👍❤️
If you think this noisy traffic laden place is "stunning " you should get out more .Try crossing the Channel into Europe and discover the true meaning of the word !

Mixture of the old and new. Water levels low. Unfortunately school put me off Wordsworth’s the daffodils poem 🥴very relaxing
The mini golf is beautiful. The ones in America are tacky and cheesy.
