Supernatural season 7 episode 23 I own nothing all rights to CW. No copyright or infringement intended. Also this will be the last episode I edit. Sorry.
Seriously... Why would you stand next to a pulsing bad guy? Castiel should have had them gone within 10 seconds. He pulses, then laughs, and they do absolutely nothing.
I was wondering... could be possible (knowing that cas felt guilty) that he knew, somehow, Dick would drag them with him and that's why he stayed so close till the end without going away ? maybe the idea to go to purgatory- and stay there- was already in his mind?
Ikr? Even Sam, who is supposedly the smart one (besides Kevin) just stood there. Of course, the aftermath of all of this was enough drama for a telenovela.🤦♀️
@Gruntzy I really don't know...if i think about the scene it was difficult for Cas passing Dick to get Dean out of the range of Dick's blow off, or taking steps back grabbing Dick's shoulders to put more space between them and Dean. Either way they would end up sucked up to purgatory as well. maybe he wasn't thinking straight? i don't know
I have play enough games to know that when a boss starts to behave bloody odd when defeated (like sending out pulsing shock waves), It´s time to get out of the way.
If you think about it he really didn't need to catch him off guard by stabbing him a second time. He WAS off guard when he threw Castiel across the room. Stabbing him with a fake bone was completely unnecessary.
What does that even mean? If Dick had counterattacked and stopped the first attack then there was no way a second try was going to work. It doesn't logically make sense why there were two weapons. I understand what the show was going for, but it seems to me that it was the show trying to be "clever" rather than practical.
@@hamsterfromabove8905 if u think about it if Dean were to stab him with the real one and Dick takes and break it then game over their fucked, but if Dean tries to stab dick with the fake one and counterattacks then that's where Castiel comes in distracting Dick long enough for Dean to pull out the real one and stab him in the video u can clearly see Dick throwing Castiel down breaking his gaze from Dean and when turned back around he got stabbed besides either way Dick wouldn't counterattack because he thinks Crowley gave them the fake blood
Really!? Of all the SPN seasons, I'd rank the Leviathans season at dead last. They were just vampire-ghouls who were harder to kill. Nothing spectacular or even special to them.
@@tuchehstone what made them unique was how organized they were as a species. After seeing Michael and lucifer fight twice and nothing happened, this is the closest to a true apocalypse we got minus amara and s15
It's sad that Dick was the only Leviathan worth anything. It was even more tragic how the writers were in a creative kerfuffle during that season and couldn't do any better than these flaccid Leviathans. SMH...
One of the most anti-climactic seasons (and season endings) in that show. Thing about SN is, that most seasons have some really amazing episodes, everything perfect etc. and then they just have the most lackluster endings to their seasons (british men of letters, leviathans, etc.)
+Nerex Problem is the writers don't keep continuity in mind when writing the next season. Their biggest mistake was the "Darkness vs God" arc and, in my opinion, when the writing took a nose dive for later seasons. The writers wrote themselves into corner after corner that they ended up retconning too many things.
@@JC-lu8dt they only had to change the last two episodes. The ending was gonna be (slightly) different. As a whole though, I just felt like there were too many fillers and everything was stuffed into the last 3 episodes :(
I also think they overpowered the leviathan way too much. They made it seem like it was the end of the world, and then it literally came crashing down in this episode
He was the only Leviathan worth watching. If he were the only to have remained behind while the rest were sent sailing back to purgatory, that would've been genius.
The only issue is the S8E01 recap didn't end with Dick exploding into the S7 into... thing Would've been very fun to see Dick exploding into S7 intro thing into S8 intro thing
Imho, Dick was unbelievably charismatic character. Actor made an amazing job. I really wanted to see more of him and more of Leviathans, but... Plot became so bad, so we have what we have.
I didn't realize till later but the leviathans were gods first beasts (before humans) so why was the only thing that could kill them a bone of a righteous mortal and needed the blood of monsters, angels and demons? Answer: God intended for them to be evil so they could show up later in his story
Looking at this scene again, I wonder how Eve could sense Castiel & turn off his powers but Dick couldn't seeing as they are both very old & more powerful.
Fast Eddie Eve may be stronger than Dick, Remember, She didn’t even know Cas was with Them, Unless she prepared for the angels to attack, We have to assume she has abilities making angels useless.
Could Archangels kill Leviathans? I feel like the Leviathans might’ve been the Darkness’s attempt at life, maybe even her countermeasure to the Archangels.
This confusion comes from a seemingly contradictory couple of "history lessons" from Death, When Death and God-Castiel faced off, Death explained the origin of the Levithans. (My apologies if I misquote) "Long before God created angel and man he made the first beasts, the Leviathans". Later on in the series we get another history, this time about the Darkness. "Before there was light, before there was God and the Archangels there wasn't nothing. There was the Darkness. A horribly destructive amoral force that was beaten back by God and his Archangels in a terrible war." So in one version of history we have the Leviathans being made before Angels, and in another we have Archangels existing first. There are explanations to resolve this. 1. Death was just wrong. He has already admitted that his memory is unreliable going back that far. 2. Death said Leviathans were made before "angel and man", not Archangel and man. So Death was talking about regular Angels here, not the Archangels. 3. It is inferred by many that the Darkness War occurred before the creation of the Leviathans, but this need not be the case. Yes the Darkness existed before God, but that doesn't mean she wasn't knocking around for a while before God decided to deal with her. God made the Leviathan, locked them away in purgatory, made the Archangels, then turned on the Darkness. Remember that she was aware of a lot of God's handiwork before she was locked away. There may be more, feel free to add to the list. Personally I think the canon explanation is number 2.
I love how cas automatically put himself in front of dean without hesitation
Of course he would! He didn't want Dean to get Dick first. Not until Cas had choked off Dick good and satisfactorily!
@@tuchehstone Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
Now we know why🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Gay people
Of course Cas would. Cas is practically Deans second brother

I blame the writers.

I think it was suppose to make him believe that is was fake so that he will be very confident and not go into some defensive position
But your missing the point. Dean connected the first stab. Why wasn't the first stab the real weapon?

Not the best ending for sure but the Leviathan season was pretty good and Dick is a great villain.
Dick was an ok villain i expected better !
Women sometimes say that as well but not about me about others.

You should watch season 15 then 💀 the show is lazy and shitty

Dick had some great lines.
Have you noticed how much Dean didn't like Dick? Too many fanfic writers didn't catch on to that.
Considering his role on Still Standing, Dick's got some talent!
"Clever little sneak....."
James Patrick Stuart plays the smarmy, full-of-himself politician so bloody well he makes a mediocre baddie enjoyable to watch.
He was the only Leviathan worth watching. If he were the only to have remained behind while the rest were sent sailing back to purgatory, that would've been genius.
I just can't look at James the same way now I know that he voices a penguin on Penguins of Madagascar.
Melinda Xu Which penguin!?
James is so freakin AWESOME! :D
Ngl that was somehow like...one of my favorite Dean and Cas scenes.
This is kind of similar(0:18) to that spongebob episode where krabs and spongebob tried to "kidnap" squidward's mom.
The best villain of Supernatural.

Probably my least favorite season of supernatural or atleast top 3.
Definitely the most creatively lackluster season of SPN. Ever!
a sad end to the best villian of supernatural
The best villain? Are you aware of Crowley? Or Lilith? Or Meg??

I'd say so maybe not the leader tho

The last good enemy of Supernatural.
Could Archangels kill Leviathans? I feel like the Leviathans might’ve been the Darkness’s attempt at life, maybe even her countermeasure to the Archangels.
God made the leviathans not the darkness. They most likely would be able to kill the leviathans since they are older and much stronger
Leviathan are older then the Arch Angels. They are God's first creation.
@@Glibous Actually no, the arch angels were first. They helped god lock away the darkness so he could create. Then he created the leviathans

How the hell did the first bone penetrate a leviathan? I doesnt look that sharp to me
they're not that tough to penetrate, they just kinda splatter.
