    To this day my anger rises when I think of the militaria destroying so much of Evita's life and records after the expulsion of Juan.Thank you for finding and presenting these videoes.What they did for spite to Unzue Palace was pure stupidity.Ah but then and again,what is not stupid about the Argentine military? They wanted to destroy all evidence of her ever being alive.To me that says one thing.They were terrified of the Senora.Viva Evita

    very nice to see her. I'm almost finishing reading "Santa Evita" by Tomas Eloy Martinez..It's more about her death (and her dead body)than about her life, but this speech circunstance is very well descripted:she was so loyal that she went and said exactly theopposite to her desire.Don't hesitate in go on in her history and figure, she was good AND she was bad, as everyone, but she was braver than more of us. I'm not peronist, but I admire the bravery of this woman (not just the official figure).

    Sra. Eva Duarte de Perón
    Abanderada de todas las mujeres por lograr el voto femenino .
    Y de los humildes y descamisados, si supieran las obras gigantes que hizo,
    a esas personas quienes critican tendrían que pasar por una biblioteca y interiorisarse la biografía personal.
    Cuánto desconocimiento y ignorancia. Por los valores humanos.

    @VanitasxAura In the 1960 CIA got involved in Chile and Cuba and so on..in the end 1940S the US had other involvements..and she didn t directly threatend US interest, in the short run..also in 1947, to travel from Washington to Buenos aires took some time even on an airplane..todays world is so close,so connected.
    Margaret Tatcher was an english female primeminister 1979-1990, she was a strong women in power..which disturbed many men in power, mayby the same with Evita.

    @am1966ath 13 лет назад

    @VanitasxAura I agree, the military rule of 1976-83 killed some 30 000people in an orgy of torture and sadism..Evita didn t murder people..she blackmailed them or closed down their businesses and newspapers..she also accused people of all sort of things..but so did other argentinian governments after her also unfortunately.

    @VanitasxAura Im not Anti-Peronista?? I was no victim of her,I wasn t even born in 1952..those that were are today very old...her furs where "bought" in Buenos Aires..she would go into the shop and take what she wanted..of course in those days, great ladies had an account in the fine shops..she didnt settle hers, but paid half or not at all..her foundation operated in the same way.Where do you think she became so rich from?? her followers were very poor..but collect from millions..

    @VanitasxAura To loveor to hate a person that plays a role in a country, you probably have to be from that country.Hugo Chavez for example, stirs up huge emotions among the people of Venezuela, the people affected by his policies and his taxes. Evita in Europe, so far away was an exotic bird. Im Swede, in Swede the politician Olof Palme was a typeof swedish Evita, creating huge emotions of love or hate among the swedes, where the internationalcommunity saw him in a more sane way.

    @EnzFab73 Why Dior and Van Cleef jewells??..there are many good dressmakers and jewellers in Buenos Aires..she didn t have to bring things from abroad..in Colombia there is marvellous emeralds and there are some very good buenos aires jewellers..she probably also got gifts from her rich "friends" like the shipping magnate Alberto Dodero..owning luxury has nothing to do with education..the old time rich are ususally very discreet both with money and jewellry...to flaunt it is inmature but human..

    Perons were best and brightest.
    But you have to keep in mind the fact that reforms which made sense looking at a country based on a Spanish colonial model would be worse than useless in the middle-class society which is the United States.
    Other than that I'd happily trade just about any dozen of our politicians for those two.

    @am1966ath You keep mentioning on my videos about Eva shutting everyone down. You can count using 2 fingers how many time this happened during the first Peronist period as per the historical evidence. Even after the fall of Peronism in 1955 when the military government wanted to discredit her foundation & asked those so called victims to come forward guess what? No one did and this is according to scholars. A little research goes along way & Eva attitudes to those that criticized her?

  • @am1966ath
    @am1966ath 13 лет назад +1

    @VanitasxAura Things won t get better..the opposite...the US didn t have much to do with Argentina during Evitas time..the US involvment in Latin America starts in the 1960S....Evita was a colourful personality..people tend to love the person more than the deeds..Margaret Tatcher for example does not ewoke feelings of love as she was businesslikeweres Evita was emotional.

  • @am1966ath
    @am1966ath 13 лет назад

    @VanitasxAura I don t think that Evita saw herself as merely human..she probably saw her self as godess, the queen of the poor,my shirtless she called the masses that payed for jewellry.

  • @am1966ath
    @am1966ath 13 лет назад

    @VanitasxAura If you look at Latin american cities..like Buenos aires or Lima..you will soon see the palacesofthe colonial upper class/oligarchs and the private clubs of the officer-corps.These people used to rule there..andsuddenly Evita comes along?of course they don t like her...

  • @am1966ath
    @am1966ath 13 лет назад

    @VanitasxAura Evita wasn t simple human,excuse me for destroying your dreams..her ambitions weren t exactly human..her ways wasn t that of a little person. Do you grab millions of other peoples money?do you go into shops,collecting what you want and leave without paying? do you blackmail people? She(Evita) knew exactly was she was doing and to whom..her generosity had a price tag..which was payed by the receivers and those she didn t like.

  • @am1966ath
    @am1966ath 13 лет назад

    @icebear1946 I totally agree with you..the Argentinian society was divided with huge differences between rich and poor.

  • @am1966ath
    @am1966ath 13 лет назад

    @VanitasxAura In a country like Argentina,politics can become passion..and passion can go out of hand..her husband Juan Domingo used his wife to enrich himself...she herself could use ugly methods to collect money and silence those that disagreed with her..that isn t nice and doesn t show a very nice future..unfortunately the Argentinian political life has been very turbulent since her times,culminating in the genocidal military rule 1976-1983.

  • @am1966ath
    @am1966ath 13 лет назад

    @VanitasxAura Look I don t hate Evita..I did not live at the time..and in Argentina. Argentina had and have many poor who nobody cared about untill Evita started talking about them..I don t disaprove of her helping poor people
    certainly Argentina nedeed reforms..I disaprove of her accusing everybody who disagree with her for being Oligarchs and parasites..the Oligarchs as in most latin american countries , is a very small group. She was hostile to anyone who disaproved of her methods.

    @EnzFab73 CONT: And lastly, it takes more than ONE uneducated glamour queen who loved to wear Dior gowns and Van Cleef jewels (many which were gifts BTW) to ruin a country.

  • @EnzFab73
    @EnzFab73  13 лет назад

    @EnzFab73 CONT: You seem to be eager to expose Eva's alleged ruthlessness, how about those that criticized her, her class, her sex, her background. You act as if this "class warfare/division" was caused by Evita. Guess what? She didn't start this. You see no issues with the exploitation of the working poor, women, children & the elderly prior to the first Peronist period? You mean to tell me no one was "silenced" prior to Eva & Peron throughout the 30's & early 40's? LOL.

  • @EnzFab73
    @EnzFab73  13 лет назад

    @EnzFab73 CONT: Corruption on a mass scale existed before Eva & continued to florish after her death. The governments prior to her were disastrous on practically every level (the chaos that lead to the rise of Peron is a prime example of this) unless of course you were one of those priviledged few who lived in those multi-million dollar estancias & schooled in Europe. Blaming Eva for all of Argentina's woes or the misteps of the state police sound as ridiculous now as it did then.

    @EnzFab73 After 1955 times were not "safe"..some of those that she blackmailed/shut down like a chocalte factory owner went into exile in Paraguay I think...her "foundation" warehouses some of which were opened in the 1970S still contained huge amounts of shoes,clothes,toys???? Evita and Juan probably transfered huge amounts of money abroad, as Juan lived in Madrid and was very wealthy,from what???
