Well, funny part is that imho the smoke enchace is the most situashional upgrade and bro caught perfect situation for it. I cant even imagine better place for it
@someoneunknown8730 I much prefer mobility over the core meter, monarch has no shield so dodging attacks is really necessary, also I can catch up quickly to fleeing enemies to get those sweet batteries or run away faster from angry legions hehe, dashing to the sides to avoid NS shots and tones rockets keeps my monarch alive for longer
The best way to get rid of a monarch is to stay away from them. 1. They dont get core stuffs if they cant damage you 2. They cant battery thief 3. They will leave
monarch is pretty good but only if you have enough skill its not completely overpowered like tone or CAR because you still need tons of skill to get through the early parts that have no upgrades
Monarch level 1-2 feels kinda unpowered and longevity is the goal if you hit 3 which makes you not very useful to your team while building up (also the missile upgrades suck but I haven't played since the hackers shutdown the servers and I am a filthy scorch main until any open map like kokdai tone(after nerf,love consistency and the overall averageness can fit almost anywhere),legion and Northstar)

Suggestion - 'The Viper Special'. Overcore/Viper Thrusters Northstar where, by using VTOL and Flight Core, the objective is to get as many aerial kills as possible. Double points for air-to-air kills of another flyer.
Nothing captures TiF2 like that end-of-game scoreboard. In 3rd is a player who probably is happy to see themselves in top 3 after getting the game that day. In 2nd is the player who (a) just got back after a while a sees he hasn't lost touch with the fun he always had with the game, or (b) he's seeing the growth he's gone through since his first regeneration. Finally, in 1st, a god of the game, who hates to admit he knows all the ways of getting across all maps without touching the ground. Maybe he even knows how many containers he can viably launch off of, to maintain high speeds, on his 2 favorite maps.
thats what i call the perfect titan brawl build, moderate damage and resiliance, combined with the ability to heal though executions and quadrupling monarch speed by using turbo engine instead of overcore, as most monarch users see obligatory.
are you running the multiplayer with NorthStar? Played titanfall 2 a while back and wanted to get back into it but whenever I try to join a server I can't connect to any games (On PC, and in Australia). if you do use Northstar is it because they are the only remaining active servers, or because hackers are just too prevalent in vanilla?
The whole hacker stuff is definitely exaggerated, I play vanilla not NS, the only main issue with vanilla is, long wait times for modes that aren't Attrition and of course the annoying disconnected from lobby error, other than that the game runs well, London, Dallas, Tokyo, Sao pablo, Singapore are the server to go for marches
I've swapped from monarch to legion just because legion go BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR and then there's no more enemy pilots
Monarch is too strong if shes fully upgraded, at best shes just annoying when shes got no upgrades but at worst the is really difficult to stop if the player is good and the upgrades are the good ones.
Still base monarch feels like the standard medium size titan from tf1 and that one felt soo good to use. Predictable gun with ok damage, average health and average mobility. I would just prefer monarch to have energy shield instead of the siphon, that would fit better for ion imo

I like all titans really all very different and fun but if I had change one. It have be tone and the fire one. Been couple years since I played but. Tone to easy play and not fun go against. Fire one feels so hard to use and clunky. I don’t know just me but I would change his primary something else. Maybe napalm grenade launcher sticks to enemies. Kind like right but have a small magazine and more like explosive residue cover the ground. Like it’s filled with oil explodes and then lights. Just spit balling just that titan seems so weird and clunky
I love how you need to play completely defensively in the early stages with monarch as you’re just too underpowered to be of a significant threat, but once you get to you second and third core you’re a beast on the battlefield. The hardest thing to master as a monarch main is to know when to withdraw and not give into the urge to get those batteries!
Yes! There was a small but dedicated group of player that would only play titanbrawl and LTS but after the whole ddosing the left for NS private servers :(

I usually go after two or more enemy titans if my monarch is fully upgraded with missile racks, maelstrom and superior chassis.
Monarchs are the easiest to nuke eject because you can always count on them to go for the battery lol
