In 25 years when Tool is long gone and no more, there will be a real sense of privilege within the lucky few who were able to experience this piece being performed live in person.

Point is it would be impossible, if you think just about the first verse an octave lower it would be extremely difficult to sing for maynard

But this song and mainly this bass riff had played in my head now and then. Just recently I decided to find this song though I didn't know the name. It's actually been 15 years since I decided to actually play something by tool. Life has its stages and their is something I remembered about the way this song made me feel that I can use to cope at the current moment. I listened to this song on repeat the other day at work for maybe 6 hours. I cannot stop listening to it. It's incredible. What a masterpiece. Everything about it is beyond what any normal person could fathom. Well anyway I decided to check out fear inoculum. I was most certainly in for a surprise. My journey has just begun

Mohammed Kortam incorrect. it is played on one bass. I don't believe any Tool songs use two basses at once. (unless they've done it live?) This song is relatively easy with one bass, so I don't see a need for two

Man, great video! I think most people did not notice that you were properly focusing on the persons who are doing the most "important" part. I hate it when there's a beautiful guitar solo but the camera man focus on the bassist because he looks more active somehow. Here, you showed that you knew the song and what part was contributed by each of the members. 10/10

I saw them in Charlotte on this tour a few weeks after this was recorded. It was my first time seeing them and I have seen them three more times since then but that particular tour was by far my favorite of theirs I have been to.
