My First Job After Federal Prison

  • Someone asked me if it was tough to find a job after federal prison. Ironically, I saw the question as I was finishing dinner with a physician. I offer thoughts in this video.

    The key to what he is saying is Take anything just to get your foot in the door. Then once you have established consistent employment history, apply to a better job in your skill set. The attitude of gratitude will take you a long way

    it's always scary/unsettling when you see an intelligent person doing a job that is..."beneath" them, like what are you up to ?

    But you don’t get to determine that for anyone else; if the candidate is better than the job they seek.

    Physician after criminal conviction= former physician without a license depending on how bad of the conviction was.
    He needs to get used to it
