Eileen Fisher stuff is so expensive partially because its so amazing, but also because it's an ethical brand, so its always super fun to find their stuff secondhand!
Totally agree. The inside tags also encourage you to wash the items less and to return it to the stores for recycling when you are done with them. I have also seen racks inside their stores where they sell gently used secondhand pieces. They are geared towards a casual sorta wealthy middle aged clientele. I love thrifting for the items because their cuts seem to fit a whole bunch of size ranges. So I can buy a small in one piece and a large in another. I just thrifted a red sweater from the brand two days ago and am going to save it for the holidays (red is too scary bright for me any other time).

Ugh! I totally feel you on the "feeling bad for the woman you were during that time" I felt the same after a broken engagement! I get emotional just thinking about how much I tried and poured so much love into him and getting soo rejected! And just remembering how I felt during that time makes me sad but so grateful now that God pulled me out of that relationship :)

Yes, Eileen Fisher is a great brand. Loved all the pieces you found, didn't think being so small you would find anything in men's but goes to show ya look everywhere in thrift! Old Navy makes great jean jackets so I hope it fits the hubby. For future reference, it's a "seam" if it connects 2 pieces of fabric together and a "hem" at the bottom of the garment or sleeve. Great video and great finds!

Pro-tip- if you get a green tea/matcha frappecino, add one pump of peppermint (per size, so a grande/medium would have 2) and blend in chocolate or java chips. Andes Mint Frappecino!

Another way to tell if it’s a men’s button down rather than a women’s, is by actually looking that the buttons themselves. The women’s buttons are on the left side with the hole on the right and the men’s is on the opposite. 👍🏼 Not sure if that’s a universal thing but that’s what I have figured out from thrifting men’s button downs

The cotton on jumper is men’s. Cotton on is an australian brand and that’s the label that’s on men’s clothes :) (it looks good on u tho!)

To tell the difference in men's and women's clothing is women's buttons right over left, and men's button left over right. I once found a dress in the men's section, so it's not surprising that women's things are mixed in
The Rose Monica looks like a ladies top since it buttons right over left. My favorite is that wonderful mossy green.

This is the 4th thrift store video I've watched. They are really fun but hems are at the bottom of clothing, any where else on a garment they are called seams. I'm sure that you've heard this many time before but it is driving me crazy. Since this is an old video I doubt you'll see this so I don't feel bad about being petty!
It's fine to wear an oversized clothing but if it's too much it looked ridiculous and it's just really a waste of money...where's the thrift there...
