Making an EC style Sci-fi Comic cover using inkwash.. Lucy Lazer and Dick Dynamo meet the TermiteMen

another day another doodle
this time in inkwash
as i went through numbering the "issues" this cover would have been for, i realised this was number 12
a one year speacial perhaps, so let's make it look special
i like ink washes and the painterly effect it creates
so it is always fun to try a different element of comics creating and method of making black and white art and looks fitting for time period EC books were made
I did a stack of gesture drawings from old comics so no idea who the original artist was but I like the idea of Lucy having to save Dick even though he is perhaps the more sensible
