so far the clear hint of the "more than just a mere friend or companion" feeling showed from a playable character to traveler (Aether or Lumine) are (for Aether) Ayaka, Shenhe, Keqing, Kokomi, (and for Lumine) Xiao, Childe based on the story progress (things that happened when you play the story quest, the world quest or the event quest), and not the tea pot interaction though I'm a Noelle simp, I do like this ship too (and the Kokomi one is also cute, thou for now sadly she barely had an interaction with the traveler)

@@thisenable the dialogue is the same but the context is different. Gacha games tend to be designed like this, especially with 2 protagonist with different gender, so that each mc will get their different context even tho the dialogue is the same.
i would love to live in your state of delusion, because although these characters could have romantic feelings and some ships do work better for a certain mc it’s the same for both, if anything they have better interactions with ayaka-lumine xiao-aether etc; the twins are different but the characters you mentioned aren’t made to be for just one..

I am begging mihoyo please make the traveler talk. It makes conversation 10 times smoother and yes it is a very romantic scenes but my goodness it ruin my immersion when aether doesn't speak a word. It feels like poor Ayaka was talking to a wall 🧱

I regret not started playing Genshin that early, despite thinking of doing that after seeing my brother playing this. I finally decided to play Genshin in September 2023.
I am begging mihoyo please make the traveler talk. It makes conversation 10 times smoother and yes it is a very romantic scenes but my goodness it ruin my immersion when aether doesn't speak a word. It feels like poor Ayaka was talking to a wall 🧱

And the AI said that it implies that Ayaka has a romantic feelings for the Traveler xD

This update was quite the treat for shippers. First half with Xiao and Traveler and the second half with Ayaka and Traveler.
No kidding this event was, hands down, an AeYaka Haven for all Ayaka-lovers and Aether X Ayaka shippers.
There's just one thing that ruins this video to me, tho Imma still rewatch it:
As a story-focused player, I just can't take it well whenever I see an Aether in dialogues or cutscenes THAT DOESN'T USE THE SAME ELEMENT AS THE REGION THE SCENE TAKES PLACE IN.
So aethers dates are: Mondstadt-noelle, liyue- Hu Tao, Inazuma-ayaka, Summeru-Nilou/ dehya...
