- The Kansas City Chiefs averaged 7.7 yards per play against the Buffalo Bills and had a combined 361 yards, and Sean McDermott is supposed to be a defensive-minded coach, so what happened? If the Bills don't fire McDermott now, then they might miss out on some of the best coaching candidates

In your _next_ video (I'm going through a playlist, so they're in reverse order) you talk about how when in the spotlight we don't always think clearly. If you hadn't read the article about Sean McDermott as HC yet, I can point you towards an excellent summary.
I *know* people like this. When they feel pressured, they become paranoid. They're terrified that they're going to look stupid, & that terror multiplies. Like Mike McCarthy he has to shut out Everyone Else's Voice & do things his way. Why? Well when people are stressed, what do they seek? Comfort.
Comfort food, movies, music or TV shows from happier times. What do people who are play-callers do when they're in the game & can't escape the stress?
Call Familiar Plays. Not effective ones. The subconscious (SC) conflates Familiar Things as being the only comfortable ones available.
McDermott may be The Worst decision-maker under stress we've ever seen in the NFL. (I'll go into why I think this if asked). & I think he takes over on bot sides of the ball.
I've always thought Andy Reid was actually a terrible decision-maker with an unjustly great rep. How tf did _he fail_ with all those talented Eagles teams?
I was watching a game in the earl;y '00s where the Eagles _were_ flying & McNabb was playing a boring short pass-run offense but he was amazing, made it look like ballet. Never saw the Eagles offense move so well. Then they showed Reid on the sideline & he looked like he was gonna vomit.
He put a stop to all the plays he couldn't stand & the offense stalled & I never saw them play that way again. Like most egos, he preferred to impose His Way than win.
But I gotta hand it to him: he keeps focused under pressure.
That's a _huge_ advantage.
