So hard to reconcile passion with Cal Newport's "So Good They Can't Ignore You" - anybody have experience merging the two? Newport essentially argues that career capital CREATES passion, not vice versa. Hard to believe for people like writers, runners, etc.

Well I play music I've reached a point were there isn't a lot of people who can do what I do its a high level I'm not really sure what it would consider failure I gave up on becoming famous years ago I play write songs will learn the most extreme challenging techniques from time to time but I don't play for fame are any of that anyway I mostly play and write because it connects with my soul its who I am its what I do that's tge reason I keep doing it I might play a show are something but fame isn't the reason I play anymore it never really was but I did chase it in my youth played many big shows and did many things when my child was born I hung it up now I simply play for the connection to me are my soul because it's who I am
