Cafe Kashgar is a very nice Uzbek restaurant in the Russian neighborhood of Brighton Beach, Brooklyn. The kebab, samsa and plov are all outstanding. Another one has since closed, the cooking in that place was done by an old Korean woman who only spoke Russian. Then there is Xi'an Famous Foods, which features non-Halal, western Chinese cuisine. Somewhere between Xi'an and Kashgar is all the food that's fit to eat.
