Be careful with the term OSAS. That means someone who is truly saved cannot lose their salvation but they will not become apostate. A lot of people interpret OSAS as a license to sin and that belief is false. Anyone who believes that has never been born again. Remember faith without works is dead.

Luke 8:13 13 They on the rock are they, which, when they hear, receive the word with joy; and these have no root, which for a while BELIEVE, and in time of temptation FALL AWAY. The only reason its hard for people to accept this is due to all the false teachings of lordship salvation. They back load works and say if you fell away your not saved but they only believe that because they are trusting in there persevering for salvation and not Christ. I am not experiencing unbelief in the finished work of christ on my behalf, but I am having some real doubt about God looikng out for me and guiding my decisions when I ask for guidance or truly believe I am doing what is right or honoring to Him at a given time.
You preach an eternal security message, that no matter what, a person is saved unto death. I won't argue that, but how do you hold that eternal security belief up to the words of Jesus Christ in Revelation 2 and 3? I would have asked you about all of the Israelites in the old testament, which are God's children, I would ask you if all of them are saved since they are all God's children, but I would rather hear you speak about your eternal security belief in light of Revelation 2 and 3. @ericsenecal9203 I have a question for you. The Bible says John’s baptism was a baptism of repentance. If what you are saying that repenting is only about changing one’s mind from unbelief to belief and that’s what all the people getting baptized by John the Baptist were doing than why did none of those people receive the Holy Spirit? Eric and many others always say you receive salvation the very second you repent (believe) so how come those people baptized by John the Baptist didn’t get the Holy Sprit when clearly they were all repenting (believing)? You can’t say they weren’t believing either because the Bible says John’s baptism was a baptism of repentance. John was preaching repent for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand. We know the Holy Spirit was not poured out yet so if the people that repented under John the Baptist didn’t get the Holy Spirit yet were they saved yet? According to what is preached by Eric you are saved and sealed the very nano second you believe. This means the Bible is contradicting itself or repenting means changing one’s mind and actions about sin and obedience towards God’s commands. It means to turn a different direction.

Eric can you share your testimony of how you got saved or when you got saved? I would really like to hear your testimony. Just so you know I agree with a lot of what you said in this video. In the parable of the sower I believe only the seeds that bare fruit are the ones that are saved. Branches that do not bare fruit wither and die and are thrown into the fire. Let me make this clear though. I don’t believe people that have truly come to saving faith lose their salvation. I believe once saved always saved. I think the ones that believe the gospel but refuse to follow Jesus are ones that are similar to the rich young ruler. I think they hear the gospel and believe it but their belief never results in obedience and it never produces fruit worthy of repentance. To me it’s like they heard the gospel message and believed it but when Jesus said follow me they did not want to follow Him or obey Him. They chose to love the world more than God. If someone loves the world more than God the love of the Father is not in them. It’s not a works issue. It’s a heart issue. That’s what repentance is all about. We cannot serve two masters. I know you probably disagree with me because you always do but that’s what I believe. Love for something or someone reveals where are heart is because that’s what we follow.

When someone listens to John Macarthur he points to you and what you do for assurance of salvation whereas us who believe the true gospel are only confidence and assurance is that we believe on Jesus Christ nothing else. If we have to look to ourselves for assurance of salvation then our saviour is ourselves. I look to Christ for assurance knowing that through faith in Him im saved forever and can never lose salvation. Also when you used John 15 with the verse about being thrown into the fire that verse is not about hell. The judgement of God is represented by fire for the saved and the unsaved in scripture as God is a consuming fire. For unbelievers its hell and the lake of fire for believers its correction or chastisement on this earth and eventually their works being tried through the fire at the judgement seat of Christ for reward or loss of reward. If a believer does not abide in Christ after salvation he is unfit for service not unsaved. I believe it’s possible to believe in God and even in Jesus Christ but not be saved. These are people that believe in Jesus but aren’t willing to follow Him or obey Him. For me a good example of this is Taylor Swift. She professes Jesus Christ is her savior but she promotes abortion. She professes Jesus with her lips but her heart is far from God. Now maybe God is working on her still so I can’t say she will not be saved and I can’t say she is not a tree branch that needs a little pruning as we all do. Thank God for His grace right.

Did they do all those good works to earn God's favor or earn salvation? No, because that would be works based salvation. You take a verse, add your own information that works for you, make it yours and preach it to people. Not cool I was like you. Living my life, enjoying wordy pleasures, thinking everything is forgiven, I have to do nothing, I can carry on ignoring God, live in constant disbelief and doubt and hope for the best. Keep lying my way out of things, keep drinking, keep smoking, keep sleeping with girls. But what I can truly tell, if you really a child of God, your nature would not allow you to carry on living in ignorance. Draw closer to Christ and He will deliver you, so you are blameless when the day comes. The most important thing you are missing out on is to work on your relationship with Christ! Don’t do good things to compensate for the bad things you have done, or hoping that will give you salvation, do good things because you have great relationship with Christ, love in abundance, you just can’t help but to project his nature in gratitude in good deeds to others. Christ left clear instructions to love God and to love people! Don’t just sit there and be ignorant thinking you are saved and you have to do nothing.. If you don’t have genuine love towards people in your heart there must be something you have to work on. And the way to do it, is not to do it yourself, but to be humble enough to raise your hands to the Lord and ask for help, to draw near to Him, to make you more like Him!

I find it impossible to believe in Christ. I want to believe, but I can't. I beg God to help me believe, but I can't. It's as if my heart refuses to believe. I'm committing the unforgivable sin. I don't know how to get out of this unbelief. I need help.
I will pray for you now. But just know that believing is a choice...not a feeling. Feelings are fleeting. If you choose to have faith and believe in Gods Word as 100% truth then put your trust in Jesus He won't condemn you. You won't be turned away. Pray to Him and say Lord Jesus I choose to believe that you died for my sins on a cross then resurrected on the 3rd day to go make a place for me in Heaven. From here on I give my life to you and follow you. I choose to believe even though my heart feels full of unbelief. Help me to feel the change in me and know that I am truly believing in you. Give me faith, trust, hope and wisdom. Your word says that if we ask for those things, we will receive them. And YOU aren't a liar! Yes brother it is so important for all believers the babes and the Spiritually mature to read and study the scriptures to always be ready for the attacks of the enemy.
Once you are a child of God the enemy will constantly send fiery darts at you to try and make you give up or fall away to a false gospel and we must always be ready with the King James Bible word of God as we see Jesus used the word if God against the enemy in the wilderness.

This is real believers and we know because Jesus tells us they believed and its impossible for God to lie.
We see those that believed fall away.

13 They on the rock are they, which, when they hear, receive the word with joy; and these have no root, which for a while BELIEVE, and in time of temptation FALL AWAY.
The only reason its hard for people to accept this is due to all the false teachings of lordship salvation.
They back load works and say if you fell away your not saved but they only believe that because they are trusting in there persevering for salvation and not Christ.
This is worst case scenario for a believer and dont want it to happen to any of us but because salvation is not of ourselves its possible to believe get saved fall away and still be saved in a fallen away state.
Besides this being something we would never want to happen it is encouraging to know God will never lose us no matter what.

Unfortunately if not most then Many Christians do believe that now in The Church Age we have Conditional Security that we can lose our salvation😢
I am not experiencing unbelief in the finished work of christ on my behalf, but I am having some real doubt about God looikng out for me and guiding my decisions when I ask for guidance or truly believe I am doing what is right or honoring to Him at a given time.
You preach an eternal security message, that no matter what, a person is saved unto death. I won't argue that, but how do you hold that eternal security belief up to the words of Jesus Christ in Revelation 2 and 3?
I would have asked you about all of the Israelites in the old testament, which are God's children, I would ask you if all of them are saved since they are all God's children, but I would rather hear you speak about your eternal security belief in light of Revelation 2 and 3.

It all depends if God deems it necessary for correction.
Every believer sins every day in the flesh after they are saved so we dont get chastised every time we sin but depending on what it is we can be corrected.
If a believer doesnt show mercy or forgiveness they can be corrected but no matter what all our sins were taken away at the cross.

John 20:31 makes it clear those who believe have eternal life. Believe (condition for eternal life) is "present tense" in that verse. So either you lose salvation, or perseverance of the saints is false (I made a post on this). God bless!

If you truly ask Jesus into your heart you will not fall away, meaning if you backslide you will return to the Lord. People who backslide and stay that way were never true believers.

@ericsenecal9203 I have a question for you. The Bible says John’s baptism was a baptism of repentance. If what you are saying that repenting is only about changing one’s mind from unbelief to belief and that’s what all the people getting baptized by John the Baptist were doing than why did none of those people receive the Holy Spirit? Eric and many others always say you receive salvation the very second you repent (believe) so how come those people baptized by John the Baptist didn’t get the Holy Sprit when clearly they were all repenting (believing)? You can’t say they weren’t believing either because the Bible says John’s baptism was a baptism of repentance. John was preaching repent for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand. We know the Holy Spirit was not poured out yet so if the people that repented under John the Baptist didn’t get the Holy Spirit yet were they saved yet? According to what is preached by Eric you are saved and sealed the very nano second you believe. This means the Bible is contradicting itself or repenting means changing one’s mind and actions about sin and obedience towards God’s commands. It means to turn a different direction.

Eric can you share your testimony of how you got saved or when you got saved? I would really like to hear your testimony. Just so you know I agree with a lot of what you said in this video. In the parable of the sower I believe only the seeds that bare fruit are the ones that are saved. Branches that do not bare fruit wither and die and are thrown into the fire. Let me make this clear though. I don’t believe people that have truly come to saving faith lose their salvation. I believe once saved always saved. I think the ones that believe the gospel but refuse to follow Jesus are ones that are similar to the rich young ruler. I think they hear the gospel and believe it but their belief never results in obedience and it never produces fruit worthy of repentance. To me it’s like they heard the gospel message and believed it but when Jesus said follow me they did not want to follow Him or obey Him. They chose to love the world more than God. If someone loves the world more than God the love of the Father is not in them. It’s not a works issue. It’s a heart issue. That’s what repentance is all about. We cannot serve two masters. I know you probably disagree with me because you always do but that’s what I believe. Love for something or someone reveals where are heart is because that’s what we follow.

My friend unfortunately what you believe is perseverance of the saints which is backloaded works meaning your only saved if your obedient which= salvation by works.
When someone listens to John Macarthur he points to you and what you do for assurance of salvation whereas us who believe the true gospel are only confidence and assurance is that we believe on Jesus Christ nothing else.
If we have to look to ourselves for assurance of salvation then our saviour is ourselves.
I look to Christ for assurance knowing that through faith in Him im saved forever and can never lose salvation.
Also when you used John 15 with the verse about being thrown into the fire that verse is not about hell.
The judgement of God is represented by fire for the saved and the unsaved in scripture as God is a consuming fire.
For unbelievers its hell and the lake of fire for believers its correction or chastisement on this earth and eventually their works being tried through the fire at the judgement seat of Christ for reward or loss of reward.
If a believer does not abide in Christ after salvation he is unfit for service not unsaved.
As for my testimony I believed on the Lord Jesus Christ and God saved me forever and i have eternal life which can never be lost.

I believe it’s possible to believe in God and even in Jesus Christ but not be saved. These are people that believe in Jesus but aren’t willing to follow Him or obey Him. For me a good example of this is Taylor Swift. She professes Jesus Christ is her savior but she promotes abortion. She professes Jesus with her lips but her heart is far from God. Now maybe God is working on her still so I can’t say she will not be saved and I can’t say she is not a tree branch that needs a little pruning as we all do. Thank God for His grace right.

I was like you. Living my life, enjoying wordy pleasures, thinking everything is forgiven, I have to do nothing, I can carry on ignoring God, live in constant disbelief and doubt and hope for the best. Keep lying my way out of things, keep drinking, keep smoking, keep sleeping with girls.
But what I can truly tell, if you really a child of God, your nature would not allow you to carry on living in ignorance. Draw closer to Christ and He will deliver you, so you are blameless when the day comes.
The most important thing you are missing out on is to work on your relationship with Christ! Don’t do good things to compensate for the bad things you have done, or hoping that will give you salvation, do good things because you have great relationship with Christ, love in abundance, you just can’t help but to project his nature in gratitude in good deeds to others.

Don’t just sit there and be ignorant thinking you are saved and you have to do nothing.. If you don’t have genuine love towards people in your heart there must be something you have to work on. I would suggest a reading if Hebrews 6:4-8. Then i would move to a study on the conditional, contingent word "if" and what all that encompases.

You probably didnt watch the video because i showed that some believers will fall away but falling away is not loss of salvation but loss of service for the Lord you can lose your assurance of salvation you can get corrected chastised by the Lord and a believer that falls away will suffer loss of reward at the judgement seat of Christ.

This is why we have the word apostasy as well. There is no debate.
