Armguard will sometimes show as broken when buying it as a component but if you go to the zonya’s tree the armguard should not be broken, and then you will have a non-broken one 14:12
I think the problem is that it's true, the sub-component *does* build into broken armguard. :-( Definitely a feelsbadman issue that the shop will show it as an option to purchase, though.

I feel like second game is great example of "best way to carry is to be carryable" - so if you feel like you're in a losing matchup, just try play conservative as possible to avoid giving them leads. Hard to remember as a bronzey like me
