iPhone: Remove App Names

Easy to follow tutorial on removing app names on iPhone. If you want to remove the label below apps on your iPhone then follow the steps to learn how. Apple doesn't have a setting to be able to do this easily, but there is a workaround you can use to get it done.

Steps:
You do this with the shortcuts app, it should be installed already on your iPhone.
Open the shortcuts app and tap the plus in the top right corner to create a new shortcut.
Tap ‘add action’.
Then type ‘open app’ into the search bar at the top.
Select ‘open app’.
Then tap ‘app’ and search for and select the app that you would like to remove the name of.
Tap the arrow to the right of ‘open app’ at the top of the page.
Then choose ‘add to home screen’ from the options.
Remove the text at the top, and replace it with a space by tapping the space bar.
Then select the image icon.
You now need to open a web browser and search for the app icon of the app.
Find one that looks like the correct shape and color and hold down on it to get up this menu, then tap ‘save to photos’.
Go back to shortcuts and tap ‘choose photo’.
Select the photo and tap ‘choose’.
Then tap ‘add’ in the top right of the screen.
Your new app icon with no name will be added to the home screen.
Find its location and move it to where you would like it to be.
Then hold down on the original app icon and select ‘remove app’ then tap ‘remove from home screen’.
