Florida's BEST BEACH!!! Peanut Island Vlog | Florida Beach Tour Ep. 2

- Today we are going on an excursion to the local favorite and hands-down BEST Florida beach I’ve ever experienced: Peanut Island! The crystal clear, sparking turquoise hue of the water and sky-high palm trees will have you convinced you are in the Bahamas!! This hot spot is located in Palm Beach County and is an incredible place for you, friends, families, and even your pets!
In order to get to the island you will need a boat! But if you don’t feel like shelling out $15,000 for your own 25ft center-console, consider the city-run Peanut Island Shuttle Boat (the ferry) for only $12 for a round trip! There is indicated FREE parking at the Riviera Beach Marina Village which is where you will find the Ferry ticket booth and loading zone!
Just a heads up Google was showing that the Marina Village was "Closed Today" but a simple phone call showed that they were in fact open!
Snorkeling was the best part as we saw so many tropical fish in the rocks and the water was clearer than our snorkeling trip to Key West last year!!
Even as I was fighting a cold this beach was still incredible and it BLEW US AWAY and really set the bar HIGH for this year's Florida Beach Tour!
Here's a blog post that I found online that had a ton of information that prepared me for my trip: www.florida-guidebook.com/pea...
The beauty of this Florida beach will forever have a special place in my heart and I can't believe that it's been there all along!

Thanks so much for watching! If you liked this video, don't forget to give it a big, fat thumbs up and subscribe if you want to join the crew!
Enjoyed the snorkel part of video
I was stationed there in the Coast Guard from 1968 to 1972. The transformation is incredible. Very few visitors then. Now it's a destination ! I wonder if the "hidden" fallout shelter still remains. I hope they keep something for it's historical value. Maybe the station building.
Thanks for posting the vid. Memories flooded out !
I'm so happy to hear that! Thanks so much for watching, I so appreciate it!!!
can you imagine the beauty of this place before all the buildings it must have been stunning
I grew up here and I’m so glad this place is being talked about !
Lucky!! It’s honestly so gorgeous! I’m so happy to share it!!!
We need more people to think like you about trash on the beaches and the ocean, there is no need for anybody to throw anything anywhere period.I enjoyed your video, unfortunately I live in the Houston Galveston area and we have nothing like Florida.
Love Peanut Island! Great video that truly captures the beauty of it 🏝 😍 I live in freezing cold Colorado now, which I do love, but I find myself looking at Florida Beach videos often during winter 😊
Aw thank you so much! Sending you some virtual Florida sunshine ✨🌞❤️
Peanut Island is worth a visit anytime. Weekends can be a challenge with local families enjoying the weekends. So i would reccommend if possible to visit M-F. I live locally but stay away in season. And yes the kennedy bomb shelter is still there...
We are on Florida's Gulf Coast, but I keep seeing Peanut Island pop up over and over so I have been wanting to go! Everywhere I've seen it pop up has been by people with their own boats - I had no idea they had a ferry! Thank you so much for sharing this information! 😁
That’s so amazing to hear! Thank you so much!!! I hope you get to go and enjoy soon! I’m hoping to head over to the gulf coast for some more episodes this season! 😍🙏🏼
Love this!!
Thanks so much! I’m so glad ❤️
Thank you so
Much vlogging this location, it’s hard to find such beautiful beaches that makes you feel your not in Florida or pay high prices to go. Wish I could of hear what you was saying . But definitely was an awesome vlog and your personality 🤗🙏🏻😍
Thanks so much for watching!! Yeah I’m sorry the audio was so windy! Good news, my mic came in and it’s excellent at blocking the wind noise!

Quick question, the ferry can you take it back when ever you want or are you stuck at the beach for a while? Not like that’s a bad thing hahah

Thanks so much!! I hope you get to visit, you will love! 🙌🏼💛
Is Florida beach warm or cold
Very excited to go!! Some questions are dogs allowed to go? And could you camp?
Yes! I did see a couple dogs there (including one ride the ferry with us)! I would check their website to be certain but in a blog post I found, it also said dogs were allowed! 👍🏻 And yes, you can camp there!
Really nice toy let
Is there a place on the island where you could rent kayaks or boats? And do you need to bring your own scuba gear?
Unfortunately not. I believe you need to bring everything yourself! I didn’t see any rentals and I was at the main gate for arrivals from the ferry.
Not on the island. But you can rent kayaks/jet skis on the mainland and go to the island. We did it recently. Rented kayaks and snorkel gear right across the water and kayaked to the island. It was a lot of fun.
There's lot of rentals in jupiter and just go park your car in the boat ramps and go paddle couple of miles to the island
Do I have to take a ferry there and can I bring an humbrella and cheers ???
Yes I believe the only way to get there is by this ferry unless you have your own way of getting there (I.e. a kayak, your own boat etc.)
Umbrella and chairs are allowed! Gonna be the BEST beach day 😃
Lotta fight break out on that island on the weekend because of all the drunks
Hallandale beach Florida and Miami is better just beautiful beaches.
They have jellyfish???
Yup!
@@JetlagLiv oh my not sure I want to go
Yeah, it’s a pass for me too with that
3:14 ... Oh my God it's like the Caribbean...
That would be because you're in the Caribbean
Peanut Island is not in the Caribbean. It’s in the Atlantic
Technically not
@@99fxgtjc not technically, it’s literally not. Peanut island is near west palm beach which is on the east coast of Florida like 1.5 hrs above Miami
@@str8dominican I know exactly where Peanut Island is I've been there a hundred times I live in West Palm Beach I was saying technically not in the Atlantic it's very close to the Atlantic it's not technically in the Atlantic Ocean
@@99fxgtjc my bad. I thought you were responding to the original comment, as in: technically not in the Caribbean.
