You need to rewatch The episodes and really watch them the interaction between the two it made a lot of people angry because they go there and then they back away. And to answer what you just said place never happens not in the show. They break up or she loses her memory(runes) or whatever it's been awhile but I know that they don't wind up together and that little moment where he is recognized by her doesn't mean anything because Jace is not leaving his world the people he loves everything he is for Clary. If you knew anything about him if you knew anything about the books or the show you would know it's not in him to ever be mundane or live in the mundane world and that's what he would have to do to have a relationship with her and relationship built on lies wouldn't work. Plus the biggest reason he would never leave other than Alec breaking their bond would be Simon Clary can't remember any of it so she can't remember to be there for Simon and as I said I believe that Jace does love Simon as much maybe even more than Clary. So no I don't ship them ( clave). Nephilim only love once and I just don't think she's his once.. I think it sucks that he got hurt the way he did but he deserves better and he'll get it.
