This is all speculation likely spurred on by my own association to Fuchi and my own inner battle with mental illness. Basically, Fuchi as a person feels isolated thanks to a number of things and feels like they're incapable of being understood. Child Fuchi (Which at first I assumed had left but this song proves otherwise) more so stands for their childlike wonder and happiness whilst holding onto the memories of the past to keep Fuchi safe (Though it seems the reliving of those memories back Insomnia changed them), and Mr Creepypasta likely is how you say, a personification of that isolation and depression influencing his thinking into committing actions of harm or pain onto others or himself. I don't know why, but I can't help but feel that the phone camera capturing all of the events happening to Fuchi. Is a representation of how Fuchi views or processes the world. Firstly: The phone camera captures a very narrow/ small space, which may reflect how Fuchi doesn't really contemplate or put much thought into his actions or decisions. It often feels like he can't help but only see the small parts of the picture, considering the fact that the majority of the actions he performs to attain "happiness" are often short lived. Some examples are him drowning himself to attain the dream like state he wishes for, which would've lead ultimately lead to his death, or the time he performed a public shooting, which ended up with him being hunted by the police and eventually arrested. All of these actions involve him feeling good in the moment, but facing a consequence after, which pulls him out of the dream state he so desperately wants to be in. Secondly: The colors we see on the phone are all dull, boring or unappealing to look at, which is likely how Fuchi sees everything through these "lens" of his. Even when he's around Ryuko and Tobi, Fuchi can't help but look at the world with such a bored look. Thirdly: The phone may represent how disconnected Fuchi is from the world around him, it is used to capture various moments and even ones that he holds dear (like Tobi holding his hand). However, it feels all so artificial to me, its as if he's given up on seeing the world as it is and now uses the phone camera as a way of looking at the world. Which makes all of the scenes captured on the phone (even the heartwarming ones) all so artificial, his laugh when Tobi puts on the funny glasses to the smile he shows at the end. It all feels so artificial or some may say fake. This artificial feeling is further pushed when the phone is pointed towards the waves of the ocean, which is the first time we get a full wide view beyond the black borders of the camera, what follows is then a bright yellow flower field. The dream state he so desperately wants is reached yet again, but only for a short amount of time, before Tobi pulls him out of the water and back into the dull, narrow world he wanted to escape from. I'd say the ocean scene feels like the most real thing in this entire video, or rather is the only time Fichi really looked at the world through his eyes, rather than the camera lens. Of course these are all my own thoughts, I've seen some really interesting theories in the comments and thought I'd share my own view.
In one of the community posts, Eve said that his right eye got worse after the incident, which is why he uses a camera to see. Maybe this represents his declining mental stated and ability to see the world
The subtitles are even better than before! Those effects really add up to the lyrics in the music video. As always, the care that is put into the subtitles is unreal.

The most heartbreaking thing in this video imo is Tobi's face when he was trying to save Fuchi..... Tobi's physically fought demons, squared up against mobs and even was on the brink of death- but none of them made him as horrified as Fuchi walking into the ocean like that.
This was the first thing i noticed too, i havent read the manga, but from 'Fight song' and 'How to devour life' you can really tell Tobi is pretty... emotionally steady? Not quite the wording im looking for... He doesn't express very much, and is definitely a strong character, that much is obvious, and from the MV's alone you can see how collected he is in most situations, even when saving the little girl he only cracked a little, but never outwardly and blatantly showed any vulnerability or anger or etc. (Red eyes, that was the closest we got.) But when he saves Fuchi from drowning, you can see the desperation and you can just tell his heart has *dropped*, practically all the questions going through his mind are clear as ever, "Is he okay?! Will he be okay? Was I too late? I know everyone's busy dissecting the characters and what this means for them, but man. Y'know I liked the song but I got sloppy and didn't even think to pay attention to the lyrics until now, and now I'm sitting here trying real hard not to cry. As someone suicidal and pretty lonely most of the time trudging through the job market, trying to be a creative fresh outta school, it feels like someone kinda looked me dead in the eye and said they get it. Not they feel sorry for me, they just see me. And I want to express how important that feeling is to me. Art will forever be very important to me as a way of exploring and sharing our experiences of life, and these rare moments where it lines up with mine are moving in a different way. This comment has gotten away from me a little bit! I think I'm trying to say that I'm very thankful for the people who keep going and keep creating when its difficult, that I hope Eve has a good end of the year and 2025, and that I feel inspired to do something. I wanna say that as someone doing the same thing and feeling overwhelmed with all sorts of emotions and experiences that hurt, I’m so happy that we’re in a time where we can listen to music like this and leave comments to connect with others that are equals. It’s scary and lonely and sometimes it feels like, “is it just me? Am I just not cut out for life?” But as much as I feel sad and cry over it, I also feel seen and appreciated. As a stranger and a creative, I love you a lot, I hope you gain all the success in store for you sooner than you could ever dream of. Like the characters in the MV, sometimes we need a hand to hold and a person freezing in the water with us to feel like we’ll be okay!
As someone who struggled with chronic anxiety and really bad depression and desponancy from middle school. I hate how much I can relate to wanting to be creative and wanting to be happy, the struggle of not caring what day it is, moving through life slowly literally and physically. Trying to focus on the present and not think about the future because I literally didn't know what was for lunch what to do. I feel like the beginning of the song was for my middle school self and when the world around brightened, it was for me now, I relapse sometimes but I live by this principle of," Something bad happening doesn't mean the end, so if it seems bad it's important to remember it's not the end" which when I first heard it sounded ridiculous and stupid. But kept me from ending it often. I believe in you and hope you got something out of this long tangent. I graduated high school last year and there's always that fear that death is the easy way out. But my youngest brother was just born. And he may not have been here if I wasn't here. And even if he was I wouldn't have gotten to meet him. No matter how bleak it can seem it's not the end until you close the book. And it may look like nobody cares but there's always one person, you saw in passing and smiled at, a friend who thought of you, someone who thinks of you. And if you isn't think of anybody. The one thing I love about Eve is bringing up reoccurring characters. It’s one of my favorite things and the stories are so good to watch. It makes me sad and intrigued by what someone could tell by visuals and song lyrics!
This MV is straight up a pure masterpiece. Even the phone itself has small details, such as in the first half of the video the charge ramps up, but as we rewind again, it similarly drains. This is so cool to me. Edit: At 1:14 Insomnia is mentioned too.

Thank you for bringing back Fuchi and Tobi into an MV again. Watching these 2 wants me to just create lore in a form of anime or something. I really like how much Fuchi cares about Tobi that it makes him cry and this type of depression is relatable. I know everyone's busy dissecting the characters and what this means for them, but man. Y'know I liked the song but I got sloppy and didn't even think to pay attention to the lyrics until now, and now I'm sitting here trying real hard not to cry. As someone suicidal and pretty lonely most of the time trudging through the job market, trying to be a creative fresh outta school, it feels like someone kinda looked me dead in the eye and said they get it. Not they feel sorry for me, they just see me. And I want to express how important that feeling is to me. Art will forever be very important to me as a way of exploring and sharing our experiences of life, and these rare moments where it lines up with mine are moving in a different way.
This comment has gotten away from me a little bit! I think I'm trying to say that I'm very thankful for the people who keep going and keep creating when its difficult, that I hope Eve has a good end of the year and 2025, and that I feel inspired to do something. Because I'd like someone else to feel seen the way I did. So I have to create again.

As someone who struggled with chronic anxiety and really bad depression and desponancy from middle school. I hate how much I can relate to wanting to be creative and wanting to be happy, the struggle of not caring what day it is, moving through life slowly literally and physically. Trying to focus on the present and not think about the future because I literally didn't know what was for lunch what to do. I feel like the beginning of the song was for my middle school self and when the world around brightened, it was for me now, I relapse sometimes but I live by this principle of," Something bad happening doesn't mean the end, so if it seems bad it's important to remember it's not the end" which when I first heard it sounded ridiculous and stupid. But kept me from ending it often. I believe in you and hope you got something out of this long tangent. I graduated high school last year and there's always that fear that death is the easy way out. But my youngest brother was just born. And he may not have been here if I wasn't here. And even if he was I wouldn't have gotten to meet him. No matter how bleak it can seem it's not the end until you close the book. And it may look like nobody cares but there's always one person, you saw in passing and smiled at, a friend who thought of you, someone who thinks of you. And if you isn't think of anybody. アルバムで聴いてた時は「絶望の中にも希望がある｣みたいなイメージの曲だったけど、MV（特に走馬灯のシーン）を見ると、「死は救済」みたいな感じにも思えた。 助けられた後のブチ君の表情が怖すぎて、トビ君を恨んでるようにも見える（その後無理やり笑顔を作ってる？）。スマホの充電はブチ君の命そのものを表現してるように見える。自殺に近づくにつれて充電が減っていって、助けられたあとも充電は空っぽで画面もバキバキ。（死ねなかったことを憂いて絶望してる）他のコメントで、「また明日。」っていう歌詞は「また明日がやってくる、、」っていう絶望の意味があるんじゃっていうのは凄くしっくり来た。「さよならエンドロール」っていうタイトルも エンドロール＝物語、人生の終わりの意味でそれが「さよなら」だから、また終わりを逃して人生が続くっていう、やっぱり絶望の歌なんだと思った。

I really like how much Fuchi cares about Tobi that it makes him cry and this type of depression is relatable. ゆっくり聞いてると最後の「だけ」が「danke(ドイツ語で「ありがとう」)」に聞こえて、入水間際の素直くんには飛くんと龍子ちゃんへの感謝も過ってたんじゃないかなと。
主人公が溺れた時、日常から逃げるように自由に花畑を駆け回る姿が切ないながらも印象に残りますね···
2:40 ここで楽曲の雰囲気は明るく軽快ですが、全般的なメロディーときめがあまりにも違って、急造された感じに異質感と不便さが感じられるポイントが良かったです。
ひんやりした雰囲気の低く詠む吟声の魅力もたくさん感じられて素敵だと思いました。 良い曲ありがとうございました。

淵くんが自分に刺さりすぎてやばい。
MV出る前は入水を測る部分の音の明るさがちょっと不自然で、ここなんかテンション上がってんな〜くらいにしか思ってなかったけど、MV付いたらまぁなんて最高の演出。最高の作品をありがとうございます…そしてありがとうEveファンの友達
やっぱりEveさんとまりやすさんの相性が良すぎる。2人の世界が交わって曲の解像度が跳ね上がる。さよならエンドロール大好きです
