Actually, Saxon keels did not have sails. Just by rowing they made perfectly good pirates and raiders.
man weird new trend of all these robo history channels
Bow that we all stream instead of paying for cable this is the new golf. How else are you supposed to sleep when the suns up?
AI garbage is on the rise.
They speak better English than real people ,sad but true ❤❤❤
How did they get from Saxony to Britain in the fist few minutes?
Give us some references
Stop repeating the same old words
Pure CRAP! . . .gosh, just awful. . . I'm both dumber and fully annoyed now.
Yeah! You have MACHINES giving us a lesson on the history of "humanity"... And, judging by the "illustrations", it is a VERY distorted view.... Either I've become "dumber" too... OR ... The Saxons had a HUGE population of people with FREAKY faces and deformed hands with 6 fingers and feet with 3 it 4 toes
This documentary completely leaves out or ignores the fact that a large population of Saxons stayed in Germany, and did not migrate to Britton.
They are the people who gave Charlemagne such trouble for 30 years, toward the end of the 8th century.
So no, the Saxon culture didn't come to an end at Hastings... only the Anglo-Saxons were affected by that loss.
The continental Saxons had problems all their own.
That is some very beautiful artwork
Only in England ?
Saxon culture sound just like every other tribal nation before civilization
You have not told us anything of note yet
So its a No from me
If you ever believe for a split second that you are viewing paintings or "illuminated manuscripts" from that era, maybe from a museum or private collection or even a BOOK.... go ahead and look closely at the hands, faces, or bare feet. You will know it is ALL done by AI. As good as it has gotten, it still has a problem with the hands and feet. Sometimes there are 6 or 7 fingers, maybe only 2 or 3... The faces are spookily deformed, sometimes with 2 faces merged together.
The most long winded boring intro ever.
I'm sorry, did you just display a bullshit AI-generated map less than 30 seconds into your video?
There were Saxons in Romania too.
This is historical shit. The Saxons as a Germanic tribe emerged after the dissolution of the Germanic unity in the north of Europe/Scandinavia and moved further south, where the north of Germany is now. From there they much later moved to the British Isles, but a large part of them remained on what is now the territory of Germany. Three German federal states bear their name: Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt and Lower Saxony, and similarly in England: Sussex, Wessex and Essex. Even later, after they occupied the British Isles, there were still movements back to their fellow tribesmen who had remained on the continent.
Nothing has been more destructive to the progress of humanity, than the belief in gods. How much destruction has been caused because of it?
