Wow thank you - cheered me up on a low day. This group is class with a capital K. How can you keep still when this music is playing - they are superb.
In 1982 ish in LIVERPOOL my girl friend loved George the bass player, i still love them both , i play Flamenco now, i learnen bass also.
Not the same voices ? Well, as they say, " time waits for nobody ". Sad reality . For us all. Enjoy while you can, they are fantastic !!!!!!!!

The musician ship from all of them is faultless. Vocally? I always felt this was lacking with this band .. shame …BUT … I LOVE the talented musicians they all are. Groove on 🎶

The original was 26 years before this in 1982. Two of the three singers on Nightbirds were gone by 1984.

Probably because they are getting older and their voices change
George Anderson's bass playing is just so-so in my opinion, his playing is not like Mark King, Tetsuo Sakurai, John Pattituci and Nathan East
that bassist always just plays the same thing
Stuart Jones that's the assigned role on the program
