You know.. there are crazy songs like "from now on" and songs that breathe like "Mirage" and "Smile". I noticed I go to crazy songs when I need a dose of energy and these.. kind of floating songs when I need.. some beauty in my life.
Finally! I often feel I’m the only one who consistently mentions the solo in Mirage as being one of her best. Then again, this is a personal favorite song for me and, not having a RUclips video, is easier for many people to overlook. Also… that was some sweet sounding jamming you added!
Well indeed i started listening back to back ..Conqurer is definitly an experimental album from them and yet soooo soothing compare to previous and the latest album… it started to grabbed me last year listening to the album non stop and yes i started to fall in love with it .. and yes out of all song from CQ.. my no 1 spot on the album is Flying High ..but dont underestimate wiTh Mirage… that song was hell of Kanami’s solo..and its crazy if no one noticing it while Saiki sings😂 Mostly crazy riffs or solos by Kanami … hidden and shorts but sweets like suger high almost kills you instantly Ps(edit) forget to mention… Well played sir… i bet Kanami will smile if she stumble on YT watching you play..
Conqueror has a fantastic collection of midtempo songs that the girls have used to develop different ways of writing songs. Kanami's playful riffs following the vocals during the choruses (which she uses so much now even though the songs run at devil's speed) are pure Conqueror. A pleasure to listen to you talkin with Mincho.
Ryan having a nice little duet with Kanami. Maybe one day for real. 🤞 The most impressive thing about BAND-MAID is, I am always impressed with BAND-MAID. Their consistency of excellence is other worldly. I'd be convinced I was living in the worst timeline if it wasn't for these incredible women.
Definitely a "why we love Band-Maid" song 😉👍 Always so much going on that gets overlooked (because it's all under the vocals), especially by this band!
I am loving the sound of this without the vocals. My god, Kanami is a genius! How does she do it? There are so many layers. There are melodies within that could be their own song. Great playing Ryan! So well done! Thanks for that. New appreciation for the song.
So many great songs on that album. I'm a huge fan of their crazy songs, but I'd love another album with a bunch of more mid-tempo stuff like Conqueror.
One day, out of pure fun and curiosity, I put together this song and one of Polyphia's older songs. They are in the same key and work oddly well together ☺️ This songs has been getting more appreciation since it was on the Christmas Special and I'm glad it has, cause it's a beautiful song. And yes, the solo totally slays ❤️🔥 Always fun to visit your channel for more Band-Maid and some jamming! Rock on, Po! 🕊️🤘🖤😎
Very nice improv Ryan!, i'm sure you couldn't ask for a better backin track lol As a fan of Conqueror, there's nothing more i can add. Mirage, Catharsis, Wonderland, Azure... too much mid-tempo awesomeness on that album
Great reaction Ryan, awesome! I can understand where you're coming from when trying to figure out all of the different voices/parts that Kanami incorporates into the songs. Yes, doodling can certainly help pave the path towards the right notes. It just takes time, a little patience, and a lot of practice. BTW, your improvisation to the song is fantastic, keep up the great work sir! M R🤘
I have always liked Mirage, and thought it didn't get the love that it deserved. I feel like the main riff of the song sounds "playful" almost like a schoolyard taunt in a way. I'm not sure how else to put it. Nice jam over top of the track. Reminds me of the YT guy @Temporal72, who does similar stuff.
Ok, this is going on my list of "Greatest BAND-MAID jam alongs" along side of Axe Japan's & Dicodec Alan's Cluppo improvised soloing! That sounded fucking AMAZING Ryan! 👏 👏👏👏 I hope Mincho sees it eventually, I have a feeling she would approve. 🤘
Nicely done! More or less like you said, when you play, the (western?) listener can understand and follow you. When Kanami plays, it's a case of wtf,, where's she going now? (I think that's why she's so special).
This is my favorite album from them. Song for song, I listen to this the most! I love hearing instrumentals because I pick up on melodies I don't hear from the regular song. But, I always circle back to the original because I love hearing the vocals :)
Do it yourself Band Maid concept album (revised edition): 1) Choose Me 2) Daydreaming 3)I Can't Live Without You 4) Corallium 5) Don't Let Me Down 6) Puzzle 7) Freezer 8) Thrill 9) Freedom 10)Hate? 11) Alone 12)I Still Seek Revenge
Some of us hope one day we will get more instrumental version albums ;) I love Saiki and Miku, just so much always hidden under them that gets overlooked.
Random thoughts - this works really well as an instrumental with guitar over the top, and you did a great job, very cool. Don't know why, but Buckethead popped into my head, and I wanted you to have a KFC bucket on your head while you played. Once again, at times there's Akane accenting the beats that like, nobody else would - and it's cool. One thing you didn't do that I wanted to hear (again, dunno why) was some crazy ass chords with a lot of whammy bar action a la Steve Vai. Band-Maid is awesome. Goodbye - goodbye (miss that whispered goodbye 🙂)
Ryan Mate! Apparently my comment was once again deleted!! I was mentioning that Miku is the only member using a stage name (Truth be told Misa never revealed her official surname. Her mother having divorced and married again she could by Japanese law use any one of three family names!9! Her real name is Miku Noguchi, a fairly common Japanese name combination! On another note here is a suggestion for reactions to Asterism: ruclips.net/video/eJa146MXN60/видео.html Superb live concert! Best regards, Robert-Gilles

To call it art is something of an understatement.
Ryan's positively childlike joy of discovery elicits a smile.
Well done.

Mirage has been heavy on my playlist lately but this is like listening to a brand new song.

Mincho is a genius. Kudos Ryan.
Love the weirdness in the riffs!
Very nice improv Ryan!, i'm sure you couldn't ask for a better backin track lol

Lol same songs I mentioned to Ryan as well
I'm always astonished at how good BM songs sound under the vocals. Now I want to hear Rinne this way . . .
I did enjoy that.

In the LCS commentary Kanami talks about writing Mirage when she was feeling gloomy and down. I think that comes across even without the vocals.
After removing the vocals, the crazies part ended up being the solo... that didn't have any vocals to begin with.🤣
Love your jamming with Band-Maid @Ryan ! Cheers !
Absolutely ridiculous amount going on under Saiki in this. I had no idea.
That's the case with almost all BAND-MAID songs. The instrumentalists create an amazing track already, even before Miku and Saiki begin working on it.
Finally someone show Mirage the love it deserves! 🎶🎸🥁🎸🎶🔥🙂
I have always liked Mirage, and thought it didn't get the love that it deserved. I feel like the main riff of the song sounds "playful" almost like a schoolyard taunt in a way. I'm not sure how else to put it.

It was a great improvisation! 🤘
I heard another "Mirage". Ryan, great performance!
Deceptively simple yet not simple at all .. Sooooo good
Great job Ryan as always
👍👍👍👍👍
Nice Jam!

Thanks Lord Vorador!!
You really are amazing!
Enjoyed this, thank you !!

You rock!!
Awesome!

Kanami comes up with the most interesting riffs.
Ryan Ryan Ryan!
❤️ fun!
Akane so deep in the pocket

NIIICE noodling 👍 Wow...a Conq instrumental release would be sweet as. All the extra details ❤👌
Some of us hope one day we will get more instrumental version albums ;) I love Saiki and Miku, just so much always hidden under them that gets overlooked.
@@miqoto Yes, like the UW instrumental album. My favourite is the YOLO instrumental on the CD single 👌🤘

Really enjoyed that Ryan...especially the Jam session. The Mirage backing track complemented your guitar very nicely. Or is it vice versa?:)
Thanks, Falconsooner!
4:30 my ring tone
I've NOTICED you are hidden Band maid member.
You are 6th member of BANDMAID 😁
ありがとございます
