I was reading Spider-Man 2099 #6 (“Downtown”) recently. This issue went on sale February 2nd, 1993 written by Peter David with pencils by Rick Leonardi and inks by Al Williamson. There’s an Edgar Allan Poe quote on the first page taken from “The City in the Sea”. I believe there's a passage from The Masque of the Red Death in another 2099 title edited by Joey Cavalieri too.

As a huge fan of the movie mask of red death I passed on this figure because it doesn't resemble the movie dress or Vincent price..which when Vincent removes the mask we saw a red Vincent price face
Man, I love all their figures, but in the last few years they have pretty much priced me out. Now that I'm permanently disabled and on super tight fixed budget I can't really buy much of anything and these figures have sadly had to go to the way side 😔💔. I am extreamly happy with all the figures I do have by them including 2 sets of the entire run of Masters of the Universe Classics.
