I used to live in kahawa west then and a close friend used to live where that incident happened, he narrated the story but today i felt like i was there.....mkuru kudos great job

I have 2 cousins who almost "went inside" for a similar murder case. They were both out in a club obe night when one of them collected a phone in the washrooms. She sold it to the other cousin at a throw away price. Two months later wakaokotwa na makarao wakiwa dunda tena. These policemen disguised themselves as wababaz. Hivo ndio walikaa ndani for a month+ wakijitetea. Remember in this case hakuna witnesses na hakuna chain ya kufollow. The actual murderer was never found. The family of the deceased kwa huruma walisema waachiliwe tu coz their story and dates given, checked out through CCTV ya hiyo club waliokota simu among other investigations. Walitoka na 1M each ili iwe funzo.
Very young girls of 20yrs old.. Never collect a phone or buy second hand phones...

Funny enough there is a developing story ya my friend, Kasarani bado though in a different context. Kijana alikuwa anafanya car wash pale Roasters. The boy alipewa simu na acquittance amtafutie customer. The boy juu hakuwa na simu he decided to use it for sometime before apate customer. So, the guy unknowingly kila time anapiga picha zinakuwa shared to the owner. Siku moja akiwa shughuli ya car wash pale a customer comes in a Porsche cayenne na calls him by his name na anamshow aoshe gari anarudi in a few minutes. Mwenye gari alienda akarudi na polisi from Kasarani and the guy akafikishwa ndani. To cut the story short huyo kijana amekaa cell for 2 months now industrial area yet to trace mtu mwenye alimpea simu!!!!!

Jamaa aliuziwa phone na ilikuwa ya wizi. Akashindwa kuitumia akauzia mwingine. Mwenye aliuziwa siku moja akaipeleka kwa charge na hivo ndio makarao waliikujia hapo.
Mtu wa shop akaambiwa ajaribu vile anaweza fanya huyo jamaa akujie phone.
Akapigia beshte yake akamshow phone imejaa akujie. Kufika, Makarao wakamshow phone ilikuwa ya wizi. Akasema aliuziwa na mtu fulani, akaambiwa mpigie akuje. Jamaa akapigia mwenye alimuuzia ambaye ni my neighbour eti kuna biashara antaka wachape.
My neighbour akakimbia, kufika hapo akapewa story ya phone akasema aliuziwa na mtu hajui but aliletwa na pastor flani. Akaambiwa apigie pastor. Pastor akienda kwa hiyo duka akakutana na mtu alikuwa ametoka hapo akamwambia nimeacha flani na flani na makarao wanaongea story za simu. Na hivyo ndio pastor alipotea.

Reminds me of a day i was having lunch with a colleague we met in training for some job. You know vako za ka date ananivibe nini nini tumechill tunakula somewhere in town. But as we are having a good time, someone is really blowing up his phone with texts and calls hadi ikabidi amekubali akuje ampate hapo place tulikuwa. Long story short, it was lady karao, she came in with her lady friend, kidogo one akajiexcuse kwenda toilet and the next thing we know, 2 guys walk in, handcuff the guy na kunishow you can come for your friend at central police station. I later come to learn that kijana alikuwa in possession of a nice blackberry phone, that belonged to some lawyer whose house was robbed in Kileleshwa, like alihamishwa literally ata boxer hakuwachiwa 🤣🤣. My guy here alibuy hiyo simu bei ya jioni mahali huko UON🤭. Mguyz was later on released on bond ya 100k na court attendance for several months just kujitoa kwa kamba manze. T for TRICKY!!!

Nishaijipata kwa kesi kama hii. What saved my ass is that the six months I stayed with the phone they were following me. From everything I was doing they concluded I wasn't their target but an innocent stupid buyer. I was called wakasema my names, my ID number, the type of phone I was using and the location I was at the time of the call. Wakanishow wametoka Nanyuki and they are tired so nijipeleke station, I went, nikaulizwa maswali, I produced the seller akashikwa nikaachiliwa. I was lucky because within two hours we kinda became friends hadi yule seller akalazimishwa kunilipa 12k nilinununua nayo simu. I gave them 2k nikaenda na 10k. Since then, mimi na second hand phones issa NO.

That was me in Kasarani after my friend linked me to his friend to sold me his phone. I told my jamaa I have been arrested over the same phone and he still showed up.
6 years later he's still my jamaa because of this. If he didn't show up I'd be answerable.
Nobody had been killed over the phone. The owner, a lady had been pickpocketed. The friends friend didn't show up. And I ended up tipping the cops. The lady was honest enough to claim the only thing she lost was the phone and didn't any money. Otherwise I'd be fukd.
Years later, I lost my phone and cops couldn't trace it. When do cops act ?
