Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all! We hope everyone has a safe and relaxing day with family and/or friends today! We have quite a few more videos going live later this week, this is a review we filmed back in November while in South Carolina. We must admit, for a "base engine" this X3 is plenty of car for 90% of people who are buying this SUV.
BMW definitely is. But not all of them are. Check out the Genesis GV70 Prestige trim for a contrast. Their interior is still only equaled by SUVs topping $100k.
Unlike many new BMWs, in person, these really dont look any better... I dont think these are bad vehicles per-se, but the old one definitely looked nicer inside and out.
I totally agree. This is supposed to be a luxury brand. And that to a German one. I was looking at this since I’m in the market for a suv but this is a joke for that price point.
I had a 2024 BMW X5 as a rental. It did not have the 3X on the BMW logo on the key, but it did have remote start activated through the precondition settings.
GV70 Prestige could EASILY be in a 100K car. Most of the door panels, dash, center console, etc have real aluminum, leather stitching, and soft ouch plastic. Almost no hard touch plastics
Please start criticizing these manufacturers for the bezels on these screens(at least on the driver's side display) . They're almost the size of Greenland 😂. Love the reviews.
It really is crazy how the top brands are going downhill with luxury inside and then Genesis, Mazda, and Cadillac are improving. Guess being at the top makes people and companies get prideful and manipulative
Nah. maybe 2 years. If you look for cpo 2022 x3, they are actually less than 35k. That makes it a pretty good value. Still under warranty and has the new car smell. No one would know.
That interior is unacceptable for the price. Many non-luxury compact SUVs have a nicer interior. Genesis is blowing away BMW in the interior department.
This car was definitely built to optimize cost and yet somehow it’s still expensive af. I think the exterior look is cool but that interior is all over the place.
The G01 has had the same quality lower door plastic since it debuted in 2017. It can’t be a downgrade when it’s the same exact grain and style of plastic.
Supposed to be a luxury brand, but BMW has cheapened the interior so it now looks like an asian rental car. The grille looks terrible with those blocked out plastic panels now. No more tacora red interior option. And no opening sunroof, seriously? No mention that BMW monitors the interior camera and mines it for data? You can "turn it off", but you shouldn't have to. BMW shoudn't be doing such privacy invasions in the first place.
Test drove one, nice driving dynamics, but awful quality inside. Basically, things you touch feels cheap and plasticky. Shame BMW has come to this. A Mazda has better quality materials inside.
For those complaining about the price…considering how well rounded this is I think it’s a great price. And criminal? I’ll tell what criminal is, a fwd 4 cyl civic is almost 50k that is criminal.
Get a 2023 X3 M40i instead of this, looks better with a way nicer interior and you can find them for like 35-40k which is around 20k cheaper than this new one.
@@naveenthemachine Dumb answer, so does the Tucson and it even has a locking rear differential. He said in the Tucson review that all hybrids should have CVT's - he's a hypocrite.
@@realitybites8558this is just a mild hybrid not a full hybrid. They merely have the electric motor replacing the starter and I think the alternator. This isn’t meant for better fuel efficiency eventhough it does
Merry Christmas Sofyan, I completely agree. I think it looks fantastic. Different than the other BMWs. The DRL's are super unique. I think it looks expensive, people saying I can't believe it's 60k.... well look at the competition. That being said for 60k I would get the X3 plug in when it comes out
apparently the cup holders have raised dome bottom so most cups wobble. Also all BMW suvs with tow hitch eliminates trunk handless footshake opening features. UGH! they could not think of a work around is sad.
Really not liking the new model. The front headlights looks like the discontinued Toyota Venza and the back looks like a Kia. The interior looks and feels cheap especially for that price point. I prefer buttons for HVAC controls and metallic button switches. A few good things is the new software idrive system, ambient lighting, and a nicer steering wheel. Overall, I would pass on this one as the previous generation was a bit better.
Personally it looks great - love its evolutionary, minimalistic aesthetics and ergonomics, really emphasizing its differentiation from all prior gen X3s.
Your title Sofyan is misleading - and quite disappointing. This isn't really electrified. It's a mild hybrid, which most luxury SUVs are becoming. Also how is this "fuel sipping"? It has one of the best mpg per segment.
There is, LITERALLY, more plastic inside this car then the new Santa Fe and many Mazda products. Like literally, take a mainstream brand to a BMW dealership, open the doors side by side and compare. Be prepared to be amazed because that's what I did :)
Shame on BMW for giving you this stripped down model. 1. You can get heated rear seats as an option. 2. You can get side window shades as an option. 3. Since there is a HUD on that model, it looks like you have the Convenience Package at least which DOES have remote start. 4. Your model doesn’t have Harman/Kardon speakers with the logo on the doors, so how can you at the HK audio sounds pretty good?
No factory upgraded rip off scam multi thousand dollar badging sound system, sounds, good. Goto a real mobile audio shop please. Put food on my table. And actually enjoy the sound afterwards, not lie to yourself that because you paid 3-6$k extra it must be as good as it can possibly get LOL
Mechanically, if you follow the maintenance service schedule religiously and shorten the ridiculous one year oil change intervals there is a better chance for long term survival. But what concerns me the most is all that in car electronics/infotainment systems/etc…
For 2025 they deleted the dual exhaust only giving it to the M series, bummer. For over 60k I'd rather my screen somewhat integrated than just slapping on long screen in now what's the who has the largest screen competition.
Merry Christmas Sofyan!! BMW should be so ashamed of themselves for such a cheap cheap interior. The value brands don’t even make their car that cheap anymore, I am disgusted by the price to value ratio, simply awful. Thank god my ‘22 X5 is so much higher quality, but I was considering at one point downsizing but it won’t be an X3 that is for sure unless they 180 on quality.
i hate how they are going for that minimalist look or whatever. the last gen car had leather and wood and metal on the doors and now we have this… and bmw PLEASE STOP DOING THOSE STUPID TURN SIGNALS
This bs with hard plastics began with mercedes a few years back with gle's. For me luxury car is when everything is soft touch. This is bearly hyundai level...
BTW Luxury car makers should go fully electric. ICE vehicles are so "proletariat" in the 21st century, noisy, stinky and by God, they use gears! How gauche 🤢
The BMW X3 is a compact luxury SUV that combines performance with practicality. It's got a sporty design, and the handling is super responsive, making it fun to drive! Plus, it’s packed with tech features and a comfy interior.
i hate how bmw is opting for those two screens, this doesn’t feel like driving a car, more like driving a veri big and expesinve computer. bmw gonna lose some fans with these horrible designs very soon
Hey y’all I need a preview of today’s video. Does our host refer to this vehicle as crazy, insanely bonkers, ridiculous, or a fat pxixg like he did in this older video? ruclips.net/video/eXTzFI4VYMw/видео.html
Mercedes been using cheap Chinese products since it became a Chinese company. BMW is making the ugliest car ever. Audi is… Audi. Not sure which brand I should go with next time
+90% will be leasing and +90% of the people will still rather lease a BMW or Audi compared to anything else. So BMW have zero worries and don´t care..they can make it completely out of plastic 🥱 With another badge they would be in a world full of shit 😅

With the market situation in China, the traditional luxury brands are desperately trying to figure out how to cost-down their products.

I totally agree. This is supposed to be a luxury brand. And that to a German one. I was looking at this since I’m in the market for a suv but this is a joke for that price point.
At least it's consistent with the underhood plastics, which are known for breaking (and, where applicable, leaking) after 4-5 years.
Tesla has model 3 and model Y - its the same. They are budget models.
All models below 5\X5 are budjet ones.
No remote start on the fob for a 60k “luxury” vehicle smh. BMW is excellent at finding new ways to charge for things that should be standard.
I had a 2024 BMW X5 as a rental. It did not have the 3X on the BMW logo on the key, but it did have remote start activated through the precondition settings.

No lies detected. What is BMW thinking?
@ssboxer that customers are stupid, don't know the real value of the car and emotionally attached to the brand
This car screaaamms COST CUTTING! If people wanted a minimalist design lacking warmth, contrasting colors and trim pieces, they’d get an EV…
The interior las vegas light show is a little bit gaudy. They should tone it down a little.

I’m okay with the outside.
Inside- I love the new steering wheel- but almost everything else looks cheap. Like it was designed by a stripper.
