The rental yield in Mumbai is crap … unless you need a house to stay forever , do not buy … also never buy in under construction .. real estate is not a good investment in Mumbai , even worse than New York .. real estate in India generally is used to hold black money and that’s why there is a big mismatch in property value and rental yield

For 1 Million $ (~ 8.2 Crore), you will easily get a 4-5 BHK apartment/Flat in the best housing societies or rich localities.
NY is way expensive in terms of housing.
You can price compare on 99 acres.

You’re a bit wrong here. You should use purchasing power parity instead of direct conversion from usd to inr. Will give you a more realistic figure. The figure should come to around 2.5 to 3 cr which is still expensive but not like 8 cr expensive

@@samarthnasnodkar5965 Real Estate prices are more to do with location/area available to build houses/apartments with respect to population, opportunities, jobs and various other factors.
      PPP doesn't apply here. 🤦🏻
With your PPP logic prove me how is Lutyens in Delhi so expensive 😂😂.
It's only has to do how much money you have in your pocket to spend.
Also I can show you the most expensive house in the world "Antilia" in Mumbai. Does that too have deal with PPP 🤣🤣🤣??
PPP applies in case of salary as per the currency strength of the given country vs Dollar adjusting to Inflation.
So better get your education regarding real estate and finance correct before proving me wrong.

IN Mumbai, the average in the suburban areas for a one or two bhk is 3- 4 cr. If we shift towards worli or that area the prices go above 30 cr. the average cost of per square feet is above 45k. 660 square feet in mumbai for 2.5 or 3 cr sounds reasonable.

Firstly real estate is not a business you can be profitable since day one and in a single property, real estate kicks a lot of profit when you invest into a huge number of properties, Lets say when you decide to buy a whole floor of condos for real estate purpose, there is decrement in price for you, and according to the part and demand of the city you can gain huge profits, this is not a thing you can do on spreadsheets, this isnt data analytics and cs to compute, there are physical factors in this, people spend 5-10 years of their life learning about real estate market of a particular city, its not as easy as putting data and formula in spreadsheet to give you analysis

You said in a video that $60 for 10 minutes charged by cycle rickshaw and your gesture shows that you're considering it too much. That's a difference b/w developing nations and developed nations.
In pak/ind, we used to pay less money to low level job workers like cycle rickshaw but when In europe and usa/canada, we see that they charged the same like some other technical jobs, we asian people shocked to see why they are charging soo muc. This brings some kind of equality and prosperity in these societies which is very difficult to be seen in subcontinent.

i think your argument here is perversely counter intuitive. think of it as, one person spends approx 4 years to study and tonnes of money and effort, obviously his market value when he goes in the job market is going to be much higher, hence the higher pay per hour in contrast to someone who got in very early and performs basic tasks + the first person is potentially contributing to society much more, on a larger scale (i.e. an architect or engineer cater to the thousands of people living in, selling and buying the house) in contrast to someone who simply provides transportation (not undermining the job but simply putting it ona. scale in terms of impact).
the impact ranges from first hand consumers to the economic improvements, etc.
i wouldnt exactly say it is equality and prosperity to charge the same amount for cycle rikshaw and techincal jobs, its rather the opposite, and your expectations from the job market is not consistent with your way of achieving it
for the cherry on top, talking about equality, a taxi driver who does the same work as the cycle rikshaw is paid much lesser in the same society. its not equality that increased the price, rather the scarcity, experience and tourist attraction. your argument is flawed on multiple levels.
