Korgis named after the synthesizers... playfully referring to corgis, a breed of dog.

Wow interesting - they're using a Kork M1 in the second (charity) version of the video. The M1 didn't exist at the time of the recording of the song originally, but it's quite possible that they were long time Korg users :)

They're British. I grew up with this song back in the 80s. This song haunted me for that long. 🙂 But it's a one time hit wonder though. Try Talk Talk "it's my life" another beautiful song.

I´m very happy that you reacted to this song. but this version is definetly too slow. perhaps 20-30 %. the magic gets lost...

What? The original version is too slow, well okay. Personally I think it captures the contemplating nature of the song and to me it will always be the best version.

@@allowah6 It seems I was misunderstood. What we listen here to is the slowed down original track. If you play it at a 20 % more pace it shuld sound like the original sigle version or the original video... and this sounds like it should be

@@tamib.5394 I’m afraid you’re wrong. What you are listening to here is the original 1980 version of the song. They did a HQ version in 1990 that sounds a little different, but not greatly. I hope you’re not referring to one of those awful dance versions of slower songs DJs use to do back in the 90s because the dance version of this song was totally hideous.

@@allowah6 I know this is the original RECORDING, but it is played slower. Just compare to onother source an you should realize the differene. Maybe it was intentionally not to get blocked. Gladly I don´t know any dance versions...

I'm pretty sure it's in the right pitch. This is how I remembered it.
